First REAL GAME you ever played...?

Super Mario Bros on the NES
I didn't touch a computer before I was in middle school, and my family didn't own one until I was a senior in high school, so I didn't have a chance to play any computer games until I was at least 11.
I, somehow, still remember little bits of when we bought the system. That was before the Genesis was out, so the NES was like the only video game system available. At least, in my eyes. I wish I could remember exactly how I felt, playing something I had never experienced before.
Anyways, we got the NES from Wal-Mart, and Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt came with it. I think my brother and I tried Super Mario Bros first because it was two-player. But maybe it only had one controller with it. Whatever. Even if we put Duck Hunt in first, Mario was the first game either of us devoted any real amount of time to.

My first actual exposure to a computer game was Raptor: Call of the Shadows.
I can still remember the tune in my head to this day...

My first computer experience was with a typing simulator thing. You were supposed to be defending a city under bombardment and needed to type the letter flashed in order to fortify yourself. This was when I was probably 4. Damn thing never worked, so I suppose it falls under the category of "non-real game".
After that, it was probably MOUSETRAP, for the Amiga. It was a single screen platformer where you had to collect items then enter a door once you got them all to advance to the next level. I recently tracked down an amiga emulator and a disk image of said game... the control was horrible. I can't understand how games that awkward could be made after the advent of SMB.

I don't count the sports games I used to play when I was just a gamer noob.

The first game I played was Super Mario World I think... That was a really fun game. Even now, I watch those weird videos on youtube and Nico when they have them. Reminds me of the good times.

Well I liked the N64 or Gamecube version I forgot which one I had, It was far more satisfying to crush opponents on them.
SNES was simply too lacking in details and too enclosed for me XD
In fact I didn't even become a gamer until N64 came out and thats only when I actually started gaming, I preferred my toys before N64

Ninja Gaiden. This game actually caused me much anger, as, as a child, I was unable to progress farther than the second stage.
