FPS Sniping

Indeed. Everyone seems to conveniently forget about World at War.

That was totally my favorite Call of Duty game in not only campaign, but in multiplayer. Game was much more balanced than any of the latter titles, and I'd argue more balanced than Modern Warfare, with the exception of people running around with a Steady Aim'd MP40, of course.

There was nothing quite as entertaining as running around with a Mosin-Nagant or a Kar98 w/o a scope and w/ Bayonet. Shit was so cash.

That was a very new term for me, first time I heard it, after looking it up I was like "Are you serous?!"
But to the Topic poster, I agree with you completely, I think it defeats the purpose of the sniper rifle, and in all honesty I don't see why they don;t use a single fire assault rifle instead, or a three-burst.
Probably do it for the on-shot kill, and since games like that are won on kills, thats just how it goes.
I love using Sniper rifles myself, but they usually wind up falling second to the Handgun, only because I wind up doing more close ranger than far-ranged fighting.

Just bought MW3... Wtf...

I hate the multi player. Shot a guy pb with shotty 3 times and didn't get a kill. Same goes for other weapons. Tried it on another persons console and it was still shit. Anyone else got this problem

Naw, but seriously, I have heard of that being an issue unless you're in Hardcore matches.

I play BF3 as well and I don't do that bad. In MW3 I was shot by a 3burst assault and was insta kill. On his screen he shot me 2 times

I LOVE true sniping, as in sitting there for an hour or two talking a target, waiting for the perfect shot.
However, I sometimes "no scope" when I get surprised, such as someone pops the corner on me. I usually try to empty the clip as fast as possible.
Otherwise, I despise people who do this without a logical explanation such as mine, and I have to try SO hard not to start hacking some people when I see it going on...

I love sniping. It's such a good feeling when you pick someone off from far away and they don't even know it, or stabbing someone in the back. I play as sniper a lot when I'm playing Bad Company 2, and if I may say so I'm fairly good at it.

Nothing like having a showdown with other snipers on Bad Company 2, too bad some of them can't really snipe or I don't give them the chance to since I kill them before they get a chance to fire.
