Anyone know any good F2P sites?
i know only a couple, both rpg. one is D&Donline, and another is one called Kingdom of Loathing.
D&D is not great, but a decent way to kill time.
KoL is some funny shit. it's all text though, no graphics.

There are loads of free MMO's and time-wasting browser games if you want a list, but none of them are that good. If money/boredom are the main problems, you'd do well to take advantage of the Steam sales and grab some good but ultra cheap, old-ish games. If it's system specs, just torrent some good old games. :P

Private servers still exist? Back when I played WoW blizzard purged the shit out of them and they were no more.

I don't play WOW but my friend was on a PServer a year or three ago. It is the internet so times have changed then. I just assumed.

I have friends who play WoW, and I'm pretty sure that there are still some private servers. Purging them that one time was probably just a warning shot, and if you think about it, it only needs one person to upload the files, config and advertise, if a little more covertly. There were probably new servers the next day.

either ways, some good free MMORPGs to suggest are:
Ragnarok Online (classic, but its a grindfest)
Dungeons and Dragons Online (its quite fun really ;p)
Atlantica Online
