Just as the title suggests, do you think we should have a sub category for Reviews? Personal opinions on games, and we rate the review on how well it was done and agree/disagree with it
sorta like reviews on youtube work ,but no flaming 12 year old's who have those biased opinions and just say "COD FOREVER FAGS"

good idea, but i dont see that working without having a bunch of negativity or flaming, video games like music have such a variaty of tastes that it will be hard to get a group of people to agree on one particular review or reviewer, I guess with the right mod and the right team of reviewers it could work, if its just random posters dropping reviews it really wont be that different from the room we have now.
plus it will be hard to avoid the flaming have you ever seen the comments on the youtube vids with reviews? that and fakku seems to breed people who like to disagree just for the fuck of it.

I wouldn't mind hearing reviews from ACTUAL gamers unlike IGN, gamespot, 1up, ETC bias reviews.I used to write reviews for some sites, but no matter how unbiased or factual your views, you get crucified by anyone who disagrees. It's fucking annoying. And apparently, either contagious, or there's just that many ignorant pricks.
If you could find someone to write the reviews, who is just in his/her conclusions, has a grasp of grammar skills and vocabulary and a mod who could control it, then I'll agree with you.

I don't see flaming as a problem; when I write reviews, I invite criticism and commentary. It makes me a better writer and gives me a chance to do my favourite thing: argue (and win).
But it would almost certainly be swarmed with terrible, short reviews. Whomsoever wants to write and gets games regularly can already make a thread; if they've good, it will attract attention.
