games and cheating

I use cheats once I beat the game. Playing outside of the rules when you've already beaten the game with rules makes for a different, game breaking, experience. Though since most games nowadays dont have built-in codes I rarely bother with them.

If the games is interesting and balanced then no.

I cheat in single-player games because I don't have much free time to play it fair.

And yes, cheats like HESOYAM relieves stress, 'ya know.

I only cheat whenever I play the GTA series.

But yeah, I use cheats just for fun and when I don't plan on taking a game seriously (finishing it quickly, getting achievements).

I rarely use codes or cheats, but when I do, it's just to mess around for fun. The only game I used cheats for was 50 Cent: Bulletproof on the PS2.

Since my trophy hunting days started after I got my PS3, I've stuck with game guides, and my own skills to get past a hard to beat difficulty as I've always did unless there's a code/cheat that exist to make things easier for me, but most current games hardly have cheats anymore.

GTA is the best game to cheat in. That's all I did with the old games.

My thoughts exactly. If I can cheat a bit, then I do it gladly, but if the game presents a balanced and enjoyable challenge, then I try to be fair.

For the record, I don't play online (well, aside from Dueling Network lol).

I go through once with Vanilla and then once again with cheats.

These days the only game I cheat on is Saints Row, since I have both 2 and 3 for the PS3 and there's no trophy support for the second one, anyway.

I used Game Genie for the SNES back in my day & so does Game Shark cuz it helps me beat lots of difficult games like Chrono Trigger or FF7 for example.
