Global/General Sniper Rifle Discussion

it's weird for me though =/

I had it set to sensitivity 10 on black ops but at one point it felt too slow

but when I tried to aim i couldn't get on target

and even when it was on target I still didn't get a hit half the time =/

I was able to no-scope pretty well 7/10 times I tried

now its more like 3/10 =/

Holy shit, you play on ten? That's waaay to fast for me, I usually play on 3-4 for any CoD game.

And I don't get the whole no scoping, it's like, the bullet has this huge area to go, yet it somehow manages to hit the guy.

I actually usually had it on 3-5 but someone told me if I want to try to quick-scope I got to have it on 7+

It worked for a bit... till I stopped playing =/

Quick scoping and no scoping are for show offs, be a real sniper and hard scope.

I still hardscope but as I said... I can be aiming right at a guy and still not get a kill

Oh do you play on those huge maps on Bad Company 2?

Black Ops hit detection is broken.

And every map for Bad Company 2 is huge, so they're all sniper friendly.
Just need to knock down a few trees and tear down a few houses and your line of sight is as clear as day.

Dang, platinum for all weapons? Primary weapons take 1000 kills each for platinum, sidearms take about 500-600 kills.

I'm barely in the top 150k.

he recently got platinum on all light machine guns

My dad doesnt tend to snipe but when I see him use them he usually gets 1 hit per shot. But thats only when shooting a stationary target...

so in other words he snipes snipers who annoy him XD

so anyone planning on getting

When I snipe, I always look for other snipers. It feels good taking out other snipers when they don't see you scoping them.

I literally had 5 other snipers in my scope, picked them off and they didn't even try to shoot me; they kept going back to the same spot, so it was even funnier counter-sniping them.

MW3 for the story, BF3 for the multiplayer.

I watched my dad play... he makes a lot of mistakes... it seems his favorite thing to do is shoot people with rockets lol

I assume your dad is the guy who rushes the objective and kills a few guys before dying himself, but still man, all plat. stars for LMGs is really cool, at most I only have less that 400 kills total with my LMGs.

And you can't go wrong with a few RPG/M2CARL rockets fired at people and lolling as you see the kill feed.

MW3 will moat likely pick up from MW2 story. BF3 is blowing my mind with the vids coming. And that ain't cool, he's not gonna shre the fun :(

actually he's the guy who camps at the objective and kills people who rush him XD and also the guy who goes around doing the objective when no one else is doing shit

like a month ago I got Fallout New Vegas.... Thank god you can look down your sights... and Thank god they fixed the sniper rifle... in number 3 the snipers scope was so shitty and was really weak. But now its really good. If it wasn't for the gauss rifle in F3 I... would have been really bummed XD

I love the Gauss Rifle in New Vegas... as well as the Anti-Material rifle and also the Sniper... and the weapon mods are sweet....

for the next game I hope they increase the quality.. to like how the trailers for Elder Scrolls 5 look... and make it so you can mod all weapons AND armor (except unique ones of course) and increase the variety of mods

This can actually happen, if you're playing Rush, the attacking team can actually form a circle around the defending team's spawn and effectively farm kills that way.

^This was utter bs since it was hard to get out of a circle full of assault rifles, repair tools, and defibs. But if you get lucky, you can circle round and kill them, though chances of killing them all is slim.

And that's messed up, but maybe true. My cousin said the same about his k/d for Black Ops after I stopped playing and he started playing again, it went up.

I never played Fallout before, but it looks like something I like, since I like games that let me choose my alignment; good, neutral, or evil.

Weapons sound cool.

one map I he was kicking so much ass that when the guys had only one respond... which was in midair... he shot them all down XD

in RPG games where you can be good or evil I usually always go good... but this games is't about good vs evil like in fallout 3.... a lot of side you can join in New Vegas are neutral if anything... like chaotic good or chaotic neutral or stuff like that =/. I do love the weapons XD They even have the M16 and M14. of course not by those names. I like the bolt actions in this game... usually got one hit kills while sneaking... XD back in Fallout 3 they even have what looked like the AK47... which didn't appear in this game as far as I believe

Last time I shot people that were in midair was on Valparisio. Bastards thought they were safe in their Blackhawk, proved them wrong and shot 2 of them out of it....by luck.
