Global/General Sniper Rifle Discussion

I only spray when someone manages to surprise me, other than that, controlled burst firing helps save ammo.

Been playing Fallout New Vegas again (from scratch)

I recently bought the Lonesome Road and Gun Runners Arsenal (GRA)... I plan on Getting the Elite Riot Gear and the fully modded Anti-Material Rifle (Silencer, Bolt and new Body)... From what I've seen its completely black... Which matches my taste just fine seeing as I'm out adventuring mostly at night.

So far I've been using the Ratslayer which is the Unique fully modded Varmint Rifle (scope, Silencer and Ext Mag). Its black in color and is actually pretty affective. Most of the time it only takes 1-hit to kill most enemies and uses the abundant 5.56 rifle cartridge that can be bought at almost every merchant and also found on some fiends and powder gangers.

No I think there is real Life counterpart for it but I havent found it yet. The Thompson I actually inside the game as a Laser Machinegun and also its regular counterpart in one of the DLCs

I like the stock sniper from TF2. You HAD to aim for headshots.

Oh the feeling of owning on other Recons who think they're safe from harm.

one time was walking around objective b on "Gulf of Oman" when I suddenly got snipped by a guy on top of the tower with the big ladder. When I spawned back in I spawned as a sniper. Right when he poked his head up I got him right in the head. He had a friendly with him too, also sniping.. got him as well... and then the spawned back in to get revenge on me... got them again >=D

later on in same game (was 1000 tickets =/)



same two sniper on same tower I ran up to the tower and placed a spawn beacon right next it.. got killed while going off somewhere and when I spawned back in as a support placed C4 behind of of them and then jumped off tower... never knew what hit 'em

Hitting moving targets with a headshot is always a good feeling - like earlier today I was playing Conquest on Panama Canal, fresh out of the Russian Base, 2 Recons come riding on a quad-bike from the American base, one of them jumps off and hits me with a shot - it didn't kill me, but was close - I turn and fire one shot at him, then switch to my MP-412 REX, fired all six shots, only like 2 hit him. He pulled out his pistol and popped off a few at me then switched back to his rifle.

Then we basically had a "duel" right there, firing a few shots and missing - strafing and hopping out of line of fire. I guess he was aiming at me, while I aimed ahead of where he was walking.

So after like 3 shots were fired from each of us, I just aimed a few meters ahead of where he was going, fired, and boom, head shot.

One long as story...for what happened in like a minute.

doesn't it also feel good to snipe guys out of jeeps?

Still haven't gotten a heli yet =/

The only time I sniped a jeep was with a tank...and it was an accident.

you can't hit moving targets with a tank?

I've killed tons of guys with tanks.. it was my first full unlock next to the SV98

That's where I say it was an accident.

Rush on Arica Harbor, defending side, first Russian Base.

Took the TMB-90 and fired a shell at the American spawn, hit a moving jeep with a full 4 man squad.

Felt good.

Kind, try getting a headshot with the main cannon when the guy his poking his head out from behind a rock.

done it in bf3 haven't played much in BF:BC2.. think I'm only level 2 or something

BC2 still has it's good days.

Some matches are full, but some aren't even close to half.

yeah even if you want to change maps when you got shitty games

you can't cuz everything is empty

Still get into a few good matches though.

Learned my team mates and enemies something good about opening a can of whoop ass.
