GTA IV DLC; The Balled of Gay Tony has been announced!
Exclusively on xbox360
YAY!! Really loved Lost and the Dammed and this DLC looks awesome! I always though Gay Tony was a very minor character in the GTA IV story since Niko kills him.
Luis is also the third person at the museum mission where Niko and Johnny are there to exchange diamonds and if i remember correctly the achievement unlocked after completing that mission was "Infinite Trinity".

I've been playing Ballad of Gay Tony all day and I gotta say I already love it more than tLaD. The APC was fun to go on a rampage with, and I love BASE jumping, especially the challenges.
One of my favorite moments, however, was watching the full episode of Princess Robot Bubblegum. It's actually entertaining. Poking fun at anime and hentai while having some good laugh out loud moments.

Im pretty sure that this will be a xbox 360 exclusive only.
Microsoft didn't fork out $50 million for it to be a timed exclusive.

Yeah, but like I said Sony passed on it. People have no time for that when they have Demon's Souls and Uncharted 2 and Sony knows it. I don't need no fat on my steak.
I might get it on my 360 though, if I ever get really bored and have too much money. I got the last DLC. I don't even remember the name of it so that should tell you what I thought of it.

lol, obviously not a sony fanboy in any way? The Ballad of Gay Tony's plot lasts just as longer as Uncharted's main plot at 1/4 the price tag, clocking in at 10 - 12 hours.
Sony also didn't "pass" on the DLC, that would just be stupid in terms of business strategy. They just didn't expect M$ to pay $50 mil for it.
PLUS, WHY WOULD PEOPLE PLAY DRAGON SOULS WHEN THEY ARE TOO BUSY PLAYING MASS EFFECT, GEARS OF WAR, HALO 3 OR FORZA MOTORSPORT 3?!?!?

Dammit, I wouldn't have bumped this if I had known it would just be a console battle. I was just hoping to discuss BoGT (and maybe Princess Robot Bubblegum :))
Anyway, just finished the story and I really liked it. Very much worth the money. I love how these extra episodes tie in to Niko's story. Luis and Niko cross paths quite a few times in this one.
Even after the main missions I still have birds to hunt down, golf to play, drugs war missions, multi-vehicle races to complete, people to kick out of the club, and more BASE jumping.

50$m? Wow, someone sure has a lot of money to spend on something like DLC.
Rockstar Games are nothing more than greedy, sellouts to me now. Way to fuck up half (or most) of your fanbase guys! Criterion Games is the only company that really values most of their customers. How I wish every video game company was like them.
*sigh*

I beg to differ, they are not sellouts. Infinity Ward are sellouts, oh how i hate them so much.
What about Valve and BioWare? Two gaming companies i respect more than Criterion.
BTW, Yusuf Amir. Best character in all of GTAIV, brings many lols. Gonna get some A-rab money!

Criterion was the first example that came to my head. I also don't play many Valve or Bioware games, so yeah.

Mass Effect = meh, Gears of War = Awesome, Halo 3 = Okay, Froza Motorsport = Your kidding right?
I never liked GTA 4 to begin with since it wasn't as comical as the rest, with GTA SA being the best hands down. The story and characters as well as some missing gameplay that made GTA so fun wasn't there. The only good one out of the bunch was Packie.I'm not going to go too deep into this since most people I've talked to see it the same way.

Obviously you never played it online on free mode? Free mode is the most fun and best feature hands down. The main story can go fuck itself.
The Ballad Of Gay Tony incorporates GTA SA elements into GTA IV. I just finished a mission for Yusuf Amir that had me stealing a NOOSE Tank and killing 40 police cars, ^.^.
BTW, Yusuf Amir like i said before, might be the best character in all of the GTA series so far. He cracks me up every time with his cut scenes.

2. Not everyone likes halo.
3. Not everyone plays racing games. Only a small few imo.

Not everyone likes RPG games. There will always be someone who dislikes a certain object whether it be games or food. And i also too do not like Halo. I think it is very overrated, and that post was meant to be sarcastic btw.
And lol@ your comment about racing games. It is the one of the biggest genre markets out there behind sports, fps and rts games. Defiantly much much bigger than RPG games.
You are also helping to de-rail this topic. If you are not going to talk about the new GTA DLC, please refrain from posting in this thread.
