THANK GOODNESS! Was waiting for this for a long while now. Now, if Capcom can get it going, I'd would also like to have SFA3 and CvS2 with netplay, and I'll be stuck in my room my entire life.

This is like one of the best gaming news I've heard for the year, I used to play alot of Guilty Gear back on the PS2, EX Baiken and Anji were my mains. Now I can finally put my combos to the test and go up against other people with online play at freaking last!

Holy shit, wonder if all ps2 games will slowly make their way on psn.Sony has been releasing "PS2 Classics" on PSN for the last few months. From their original statement they intend to get "hundreds of the most popular" PS2 games to PSN.
If I could find the article, I'd link it. But that was quite some time ago.

To get this thread moving more :Umehara kimeta!
A poor shame he dropped playing GG to focus more on Street Fighter, he was exceptionally good in it too, but you can't have the best of both worlds from the world's best.

If I remember correctly, there was an article about him dropping GG. I think he said that the GG community as a whole was a LOT better than him and he just couldn't keep up with the game's technicality.
He was good at GG, but like he said, he just couldn't catch up with it.

Sadly looking at his gameplay videos, i cannot agree with you guys. He may be the god of Street Fighter, but in Guilty Gear he looks rather mediocre, but that's just my opinion. Although i did play GG since *By Your Side* came out on PC.

Pozetron has a point, I've seen more advanced GG players in action in tourney videos recently and I'm sure Daigo couldn't keep up with the current players despite his reputation if he hung unto the game. At least he dropped early while he could for the best.

I've hardly been playing on my ps3, but thanks for informing me. And do link me if they ever give out a list of ps2 games they're coming out with.

With PS2 hardware becoming more and more of an issue, this would be quite welcome - hopefully they don't make anything stupid with any of those planned "balance changes", it might ruin a perfect title. Every GG player wants a straight 1:1 port, no fucking around. Looking at what Arc is pulling with BB I'm seriously worried.

Some screenshots of the upcoming next gen release of GGAC+ has been released, here's a link to them. Ranked and player matches have obviously been included, but no word for a release date yet.

December, IIRC.Are you kidding me?! One of the best 2D fighters around I haven't played in years and now it's coming back, I got to wait another 7 months for it? At least that should give me more than enough time to focus on other games till then, but it better have a godly netcode when it comes out then.
