Halo 3: ODST Good or Bad?

I don't think this belongs in a game section... I seen threads like these end up in the 20 pages or more and it's a huge flame war... anyways I wanna know your opinion.
I still can't believe I paid 60 dollars for this shit.

I enjoyed the game. The feel of playing as a regular soldier was fun and new. Also the open campaign was interesting as well as the soundtrack, and the environment for the Rookie. Firefight ain't so bad either. Probably the only thing I don't like about it is the 60 dollar price and the lack of a battle rifle.

Lol music was epic I will admit that. Rookie's environment was good but the music there... it was just fucked up and outta place. I mean I'm walking around killing nothing and the music turns on then it turns off when I go to kill a patrol of brutes? Uhhh. Regular Solider? Lol yeah right. That was a stronger Spartan only one that didn't regenerate health. Firefight got old quick for me. In a matter of one week playing this game about 5 hours each day and getting disconnected from firefights non stop it is in my closet.

Well I've yet to play firefight with a full 4 players. And yeah the music for the Rookie were out of place sometimes but never the less I still liked it. You can't beat classical music.

Nah I heard enough of it in Resident Evil 1 ~ 3.

I really can't say yet, but because of Bushido and Xel I'm probably gonna end up buying it anyways.

Going to get it to play with some friends. Nothing more, nothing less.

I thought I should mention this, but you wouldn't happen to have a first or second generation 360 would you? They seem to have problems with a couple games online.

As for was it worth it, maybe not $60, but I still love it. $50 would have been much more reasonable.

I have the 360 Elite. I bought this one three months ago cause I was getting tired of the white color.

Ah, I see. Well, are you playing with people that have 1st gen? really does effect the connection.

30 of 98 of my friends still have a first gen but 51 of 98 of my friends didn't even purchase ODST. Amung those 51 23 of the 30 do not have ODST.

If you spend a lot of time on X-box Live with your bros, buy it. If you just want to experience the campaign then rent it.
