Halo : Reach

The up and coming Halo Reach by Bungie looks promising according to the new screenshot leaks shows. Apparently, theres CoD style perks and gameplay with squad based interactions and equipments. If this is true, then this would be a whole new Halo experience.

However, theres still a whole year till the beta comes out for all you ODST owners so thers still room for changes till then. Also, a few of you would say WTF?! wasn't Halo 3 the last Halo game? This time, this would be Bungie's last Halo related game and does not follow the adventures of Master chief and Cortana.

As long as people love halo and are going to buy it, I don't mind them making more Halo games. Just glad they are changing the gameplay enough to make it a bit different without being to different.

I didn't know they were making a new one. Probably won't play it anytime soon since I don't own a 360.

I wonder how close the game will follow the novel, The Fall of Reach. I hope it's faithful to the novel.

Sadly, I'm not too excited with the announcement of any more Halo games. I'm hoping they do more than add more characters and guns, but hey, you never know, could be as bland as ever...

Only thing I loathe in Halo:Reach is the Sprinting feature, I cannot fire my guns as I sprint. Hated that in CoD pretty much why i dont bother with it as well as tired and old as molasses WWII scenario.

I wonder if theyll make different halo gameplay genres? Halo RPG, Halo chibi adventures (kinda like pokemon cept u kill the monsters instead of capturin em) and god forbid, Halo dating sim....( a chance to date cortana, Miranda, Dr Halsey, Brute Chieftan...)

No, it wouldn't be.
As an example, bullets are instant (Marine weps), plasma takes travel time (Covenant weps), which will give the edge BIG time to the marine's.

Trust me, it's just not a feasable concept, if you want me to continue arguementing it, ask.



OFC you cant shoot during running, you are "sprinting". Have you ever done it? Trust me, it's absolutely useless to fire during that time, your weapons going ALL over the place due to shoulder movement, your more likely to hit something behind you than something in front.



Now THAT would be awesome.

I'm looking forward to it because this part of the story is pretty damn insane. So i'm excited :) i myself dont have a 360 but my gooood friend does... ;)

I'm pretty interested to see how the game looks like since they aren't going to use the Halo 3 engine to run it.
