Has a video game ever made you cry?
Was a video game ever made you cry?

The ending of Kingdom Hearts 2 when Goofy and Donald were reunited with Sora ALMOST made me shed a tear because it was just so touching.
But has a game ever actually made me cry ... Well, I know some game endings have made me shed tears from laughing so hard.

Games always make me cry... even if it's not meant to be sad. However, i've cried loads more during movies and anime, as well as live action television.

Yes. On many occasions.
FF VII made me cry out of sadness the first time I played it, and out of nostalgia AND sadness when I replayed it recently.
Cried playing Halo 3 when (No, seriously)
Just 2 examples, since it's kinda embarrassing. Strangely, only fiction can make me cry. Nothing IRL makes me cry any more. Not even when relatives have died... that's slightly worrying actually.
Anime makes me cry all the time though. In fact, I often help use that to judge whether or not an anime is good lol

Video Games don't really make me cry, it's just when I finish a really awesome game (Final Fantasy Series) I just get this really empty feeling inside of me like "is this the end?"

...Anyway, yeah, totally, video games have made me cry. I find it wonderful when you can get so wrapped up in what's happening that you're moved. Terranigma. There was another game I cried at. So beautiful.
i feel so relieved that someone mentioned this epic game: TERRANIGMA the best game for snes that i have ever played(true game) one of the games that i spent most of my childhood free time playing with (don't regret any second of it,even the second and third playthrough :) )
,and yeah i felt very moved in the end when the knocking was heard and guess who it was ???
Spoiler:
Another game that fired me up and made me reflect was Persona 4
Spoiler:
So basically games might have made my eyes teary(lol partially that might have been because i play several hours when the game is addicting)but never shed tears ..... or it might have been a single tear(or two?) :P

The first time ever was FF7, when Aerith (it was Aeris on my version) died, the you are forced into a fight with that heartwrenching music. THEN you have to watch her dead body float down and disappear. After about 10 minutes after that feeling dies down you realize that all that time and money u spent on her was for nothing. I didnt cry but I was depressed for like 4 days.
The only other time was in Odin Sphere, and that was just about everywhere. The visuals, the music, the STORY, and the F*CKING bosses all drew tears from me. King Gallon even made me break my controller once.
Grim Grimoire just confuses the hell out of me from beginning to end, but its still frustratingly fun.
FFX almost got me but Tidus turned into a bitch towards the end so I ended up just staring into space.
EDIT: I was moved twice in KH II when Axel & Saix died. they were my favs & it was kinda F'd up how they went.
Also all throughout the Metal Gear Solid series, but I was especially moved in 4.

The Forgotten Faggot
It was kinda like a beach shore thing. He was standing at the edge and he dropped her down.

Bioshock 2's intro brought a small tear to my eye...very powerful and sad for me. Also the little sister's sometimes almost make me tear up when crying over the loss of their 'Mr Bubbles'
Phoenix Wright 3 made me cry on a certain case, the one where you play as Mia back in her younger days, the conclusion to that case was...well shocking, and the last case was equally powerful and intense.
No other game has really made me cry, as a child I've cried out of pure frustration, these days I just call the game a piece of shit and turn it off.

I'm a man and being a man makes it impossible for me to cry over such stupid trivial things like Video Games.

The Lord of Butts!
Agarest Senki and Dirge of Cerberus made me shed a tear, the ending of Final Fantasy X was also one of those games.
