Visual Novel are one of the best entertainment we have, Make it an Action, Horror, Romance we still play it non-stop...

Visual Novels are not only known for the Story, It is also known for its Characters.
Make it the Personality or the looks of the characters, All of them have their qualities, but there is always a character that you can't just take your mind or eyes off...
You want this character! You fell in love with it! You wanna Marry it! You want to make it your WAIFU

So....Who's the Lucky character and which VN is it from???

Eh, unfortunately that thought has never came into my mind, because I have never once thought of the protagonist in the VNs as myself. There are of course many characters whose personality that I enjoy, but that's about as far as the liking goes.

Eruruw and Aruruw from Utawarerumono are my waifus.

Since when do Visual Novels have gameplay? Unless it's one of those cross-games, like Kamidori.

Anyway, I'm with Zolnir on this. I enjoy some characters, but I don't really want to marry them. There's Ilya from Fate/Stay Night that I love, but it's more of a she's-so-adorable-I-must-have-her-for-myself love than a romantic love.

Did you play Princess Waltz? It has a card game which is actually pretty simple and fun imo. Though I don't like that much gameplay elements on a VN I liked Princess Waltz a lot. Other example is Koihime Musou.
There are still some VNs with some kind of gameplay element.

No gameplay? This guy most definitely have missed out the epic Baldr Sky, and I can't say I don't feel sad for him, lol.

*Sigh* I mentioned cross-games. This includes Rance, BlazBlue, Fate/Extra -- anything that's a Visual Novel that also has a different genre alongside it. My apologies for not being specific enough.

OP you should edit the "gameplay" word with "Story". That's the cause of derailment in here lol.

On the contrary there's no such thing called "Cross games". Those VN are simply called, "VNs with gameplay".

From the very beginning the definition of Visual Novels is just 'a written story told with pictures', and if that's the case you can argue that even 'make a choice' gameplay makes it a 'cross game'. -_-"
