how often do you use the 3DS 3D?
never

I've been curious about this for awhile now, but have been to lazy to do this.
So just like the title says, how often do you use the 3DS'S 3D and why. I added the last one cause i'm pretty sure you can't see the results without picking one. And i want the results to be as accurate as possible.
Me personally i use it all the time. sometimes i don't know if its on or not. lol. Not because the effect is crappy i just get so used to it i have to turn it off and on to make sure.

I don't have a 3DS, but I've used it a few times since a friend had one. The 3D option is nice and all, but eyes weren't used to it so I turned it off while I played his games.

I use it all the time. The problem is that people are initially turned off by it when they first try the 3DS, so they turn down the 3D effect and leave it at that.
More people should try to play in 3D for a couple of hours in order for the eyes to get used to it, instead of giving up at the first sign of trouble.
It's kind of the same in games in general. People give up as soon as they meet a challenge they can't handle on the first try, and instead tries another game. I think that's wrong, people should try a little harder and stop giving up at the first sign of trouble.

Good to know i'm not the only one who uses it all the time. why would anyone want to give up when theres a challenge? Isn't that when videogames are the most fun? Yeah i agree with you i've tried to get my friends to get used to it, but they just give up on it. shame it really does add to the experience.

Thing is, today there are so many forms of entertainment, people jump between A LOT of different products in short time. The attitude towards games have changed. Now it's not about the challenge, it's just about the experience.

I've only touched it for like 10-15 minutes and within that time limit, I had it on 3D for like 4-5. After that I went on to a game that didn't support the 3D and play for a few more minutes and gave it back. I never touched one again since then... because I don't have one.
I want one, though.

That would be nice, to have high res pixels.

No. No Pokémon (yet), and no higher res.

Never played one yet but I am interested. Though being blind in one eye would probably mess up the 3D effect right? Somebody on here should try playing with one eye closed and tell me if it still works.

You could say I use it half the time. If I'm playing the game to continue the story, I'll use the full 3D. However, if I'm revisiting the game, I'll most likely play it without 3D. I just want to experience the 3D at least once. That is, of course, if the 3D isn't badly done like in the case of Tales of the Abyss.

Ah I figured as much. I'll probably get one for all the games though. The 3D part wasn't really a huge seller for me anyways.

Awww, then too bad. I won't have high res pixels (irony).

3D on the 3DS hurts my eyes after a while... >< I try not to use it, but the one game that doesn't hurt that bad in 3D is Project Mirai :V otherwise 3D is pretty much a no-go for me

Very seldom. Mainly because it drains the battery extremely fast.
However, the 3D function does add a nice touch to Swapnote. :)
