I keep getting screwed over buying games

So i went to two different stores aiming to buy Gran Tursimo 5 or Hot Pursuit

So the first store had the case for Gran Turismo 5 but they had NO MORE DISCS available, next day i head to another store and they have THE DISC AVAILABLE BUT NO CASE for GT5 and due to store policy they can't sell it. Hot pursuit was sold out in my general area as well

Another time i preordered the BF3 DLC: Close Quarters, the cashier claimed i would get emailed the code... when it was day of release for the DLC, i get no code, and find out i have to show up to the store to claim it

Now i find out my cash in Assassin's Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 are missing... I'm disappointed in myself.

EDIT: They found my money, i get a free new game for preorder, for inconvenience might as well preorder GTA5, any games you think i should get instead?
EDIT2: Got Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit from my friend who luckily found two copies at another gamestop, payed him 20 bucks and i am content, BUT A FUCKING ONLINE PASS IS NEEDED, it's a preowned game but all you do is RACE... FUCK YOU EA

Its not your fault, just the retailers around your area just suck balls.

Honestly, I don't even know why you're still using them. If it were me I'd just demand my money back instead of getting a free game as compensation.

PS3, mostly play RPG's, recently became a racing fanatic, so that's the reason behind getting Gran Turismo 5 and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, a FPS fan if the title has a good community like BF3, BF3's battlelog community on the forum's don't count, it makes people at IB look like they're on "Serious Discussions"

Well i can't specify it since GTA5 isn't in the retailer's library until around 6 months before the release date, so i'll wait until Rockstar releases news of there being a collector's ediiton and then get that free preorder

I try to avoid buying games at Gamestop at all. And GTA V is looking to be great.

alot of people seem to dislike gamstop...mostly hardcore gamers, but i have never had a issue with them and i preorder alot, maybe a game being a day or two late but to me thats not a big deal, i just cant understand the hate they get.

I dislike them cause I PC game, they have a horrible PC shelf. Gamestop also has a known track record of cheating consumers, like when they would open the boxes of Deus Ex: Human Revolution in order to take out the free trial of OnLive, because they wanted to come out with their own service.
