Just bought MGS HD Collection

This is by far, the best games i have ever played, with the exception of Bioshock, in a long time!
Awesome Story, Great graphics and the best music you will ever hear in your life. (in a game)
This pack gives you 3 legendary games(5 if you count the arcade)
Metal gear solid 2: Sons of liberty
Metal gear solid 3: snake eater
Metal gear solid: Peace walker
(Metal gear MSX 1, 2)
All games easily get's 10/10, Mostly for all the games different climax and story.
Yea the games feels a little out dated but that don't stop the overall experience.
Last but not least SNAKE, this guy is like Chuck norris, Nuff said.

If you haven't pick this Monstrous Collection up yet, then WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITIN' FOR?!

I actually bought the game not too long ago.
I also bought MGS3 for my ps2 when it came out way back when.. and I bought peacewalker just before the collection disc was announced

I already played most of the original versions, So I don't feel the need to buy the HD pack.

I have recently started Playing Peacewalker for the first time, pretty good game!
Watching all the CQC scenes in MGS3 in HD... jesus christ, looks so fluid

Snake Eater was my MAIN reason for getting this HD Collection

I wouldn't mind playing MGS again, I spent almost 200 hours in the Substance VR missions and loved Snake Eater's storyline back on the PS2, and this may be the chance to finally play and enjoy Peace Walker.

And being the trophy hunter I am, I'll either enjoy or hate the absurd requirements for the trophies, but knowing MGS, it's going to be insane for the casual gamer to try and get them.

I'm playing the HD collection on Xbox 360 (still have the VR missions left, pain in the ass)
But my dad recently bought an ps3 (like last week) so when i'm done with the HD collection i'm going right in to Mgs4.

And yea, i'm new to the series.

hm, I thought it was the 360, there isn't a single playstation owner that hasn't seen MGS.
The VR missions are a pain in the ass, thats why I don't bother to do them.

Oh I don't know if you know this or not but the mgs games have A TON of hiddin things in them. you make want to look up something on the net about easter eggs if you want to see them.

if you've played all the MGS games like me including the portable versions like portable ops and portable ops +. The series is actually one of them best and most infamous storylines of all time in my books. once you play all the games and tie everything together it blows you away.

If you really like metal gear solid, go on the playstation store and download the MGS database add-on. if got everything and anything you want to know about MGS in it.

I know the game is filled with easter eggs, i did find some of them.


I have had 3 ps1 and 2 ps2, i only recently looked up MGS.(i already knew it was like splinter cell)
But i was like 8 years old when i played Ps2.

So you've never played the first MGS game, but started on 2 and 3? I'd highly recommend you play the first before you play the 4th. There are just parts of the game that won't be experienced the same without having gone through MGS1.

I forgot that this collection even existed. I have only played the first one when it was released on Gamecube, so I need to buy this one when able. Having not played this series back then has always bothered me.

Splinter cell ins't too bad. it turned to shit when Conviction came out. that stupid monochrome stealth thing ruined the game for me,

yes I've played the bioshock games. Bioshock 2 isn't all bad. least its expanded more on what we know of rapture

I didn't like bioshock 2 because of i felt it wasn't needed, it's like they do a sequel to Mgs4.
The metal gear solid series is over!
Prequels is the only thing kojima can do now.

I didn't Care for Bioshock 2 because of you playing as a big daddy. there really was no wow factor in that. they can do so much more with bioshock than they're letting on

My cousin got the game borrowed from a friend of his at work a couple of days ago and let me borrow it the same day, I'm so lucky. Been playing MGS3 because its my most favourite of the the Metal Gear stories, graphics and story wise. Right now, I'm doing a trophy run on it and surprising how some of the random stuff in the game rewards you with trophies, but the harder ones like the collectibles take time and patience.

MGS3 is the best of the series so far!
MGS PW is a little weird but ok.
MGS2 is awesome with all the mindfuck!

And i'm currently playing MGS4, I'm having a Boss battle with Ocelot! ^_^
