I'd say one of the most epic VN in terms of Sound and Music.
The comedy is topnoch and the route's have there own "specialness" if you don't mind 3 girls then try it.

Definitely the best slice of life VN I've played... not that I've played a whole lot of them.

I've only played through one of the paths thus far, Kirari


One slight thing that irked me... why in the hell were there two potential h-scenes where nothing is shown? I've always thought that showing friends of the main characters having sex would be a good way to put erotic content without detracting from the main romantic development. Here they set that thing up, but didn't follow through.

Didn't really paid much attention on the ero scene's here.Was to addicted to the story the i actually skipped them haha

I'm referring to in
Chapter 1: Main character catches a glimpse of two classmates going at it during the overnight right before the cultural festival.
Chapter 2: Main character is rooming at the loft of the guy from that other band. He wakes up to find his benefactors having sex.

Not that I have real issue with this, but I really wonder why they're even brought up if the reader's not going to see what's going on since they don't serve much plot function.

Maybe because they are not in direct relation to maejima or they don't affect the story in a big way the reason for not doing CG's of the scenes

haha fortunately i didn't have to travel dozens of pages before finding this one.
What to say about this eroge... it's refreshing! I mean it's really good to have a change of atmosphere once in a while.
I completed chie first, kasshi seconds, and stopped near the end with kirari.
I don't know you guys, but childhood friend wins it hands down :P.

Overall, this had some of the most believable romances I've ever seen in a VN. There's some definite archetypal casting, but it doesn't feel forced or cliched. There's good development between all the characters and a respectable feel for elapsed time. When the sex did come- it was always in the right setting with the right mood. It didn't feel forced, rushed, nor did it feel like it took excessively long to get to that point.

Chie was also my favorite, but that's a lot because she fit my one of my favorite archetypes: The buddy who's like one of the guys. I don't mean she's a tomboy- she's still got her femininity, but it's not flaunted.



just a heads up, there is a 4th ending available after completing the 3 main routes- it's an alternate version of the Kirari ending.

Funny you bring this up, since I was just looking over the h-scenes the other day. I think that maybe they HCG was a little too good, actually... like maybe I oughtn't be intruding on those lovers' private moment. I was really turned on, but I need something a little dirty, naughty or otherwise taboo to really get off. The first h-scene totally did it for me, but the others made me feel warm and fuzzy rather than hot and bothered.

Actually i stopped playing Kirari right after the H-scene in the library. I was only being curious about that last h-scene because i didn't really appreciate the route i was playing. I actually read your minor spoiler and that definitely made me wanna finish it till the end.

About the h-scenes, it's not as if i didn't feel anything, but it's definitely not a good fap material imo :>.

That's not really a valuable logic because there are many eroges out there that have both awesome stories and fappable content.

EDIT: i found a walkthrough and got on the path of the true ending. I finally found my cure to this unbearable feeling! WIN!

Well, as I tried to say earlier, the scenes with the main heroines were more artsy and less smutty- hence less fappable. It wasn't the best masturbation fodder, but it was probably more emotionally satisfying that way. There's plenty of porn out there, not all all eroticism need have the same objective. (in the same way that I've never fapped to My Lovely Ghost Kana, but it's still one of my favorite ero manga)

On the other hand, am I the only one who thought the one night stand (well... daytime stand) was totally hot? That's one of the best VN h-scenes I can think of, although I might be a little biased since that was borderline futa, which is a huge turn on for me.

Well lucky for me i played her last.

I was working under the assumption that the other routes would be of similar pacing and design.

Was glad I also played her route last but still....I can't forget the sad feeling I had even if I played the True route,it still sux in my heart T_T.

I can't help but think the true ending is the first one. It's as if when they finished developing the game, they realized it was maybe too cruel to leave such an ending with kirari, thus they've worked on an other ending and called it the "true" one to relieve the player's soul.
Haha don't worry i know it's not how they proceeded but that's just how i feel when there are a sad and a good ending for one girl.

And yet, here's another thing that i can't help but making my brain work.
I really enjoyed Chie's route but taking this route means you can't do shit for Kirari and assume the consequences.
Now, if i complete kirari's, i can't help but think there's a poor childhood friend out there who loves you to death and might not even marry someone because of that (well that might be a good thing after all).

The only one i can feel safe about is Kashi, she might be unhealthy, but she's wealthy and seems to do well in the future.

Now what i wanna say is that they should make a Harem ending and make everyone happy. Too bad this game is wanting to be realistic.
