Hey guys and girls,
So I recently had my main source of video games removed (I was borrowing my friends xbox for about 6 months) and I'm coming back to PC gaming. I haven't been on steam in awhile and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for some good games that are reasonably priced that aren't like the uber popular games but still fun to play?
I'm just trying to game on a budget. I already have TF2 and Alien Swarm from before, and downloaded a few demos, but if anyone has suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!

1. Wait for Daily Deal/Midweek Madness/Weekend Deal/Some big steam sale
2. Find game that catches your attention
3. Realize it's 50-75% off
4.Buy it
There are too many games for too many niches on Steam. You're honestly best off just grabbing deals. That's what I do. You find out about a lot of good games and you end up getting them for <10 dollars most of the time. I got Shogun 2 with all DLC for 15 bucks.
Right now FEAR 3 is 50% off, but I think if you can support that you wouldn't have been using an xbox. Or if you could and still did then I'm just baffled.

Could I get a quick reffernce to your PC? There now alot of games for less than 20$ that look great!
But for now some of these can work on nearly any system...
-Recetear/Chantelise - A Vendor-Sim? its suprising fun and addictive, with a tad of randomized dungeons. I've played Recetear alot more than Chantelise though.
-Sequence - Rythem Based, i'd recommend a controller over keyboard/mouse while playing it though, Funny Dialog/story, and the gameplay can get challanging too.
-Star Wars:Knights Of The Old Republic - MY GOD, i've replayed this game about 12-14 times and I still love it to this day, I only wish they had the sequal.
-Fable (original) - This is now on steam and I was pretty happy about replaying it. Other than some gameplay machinics, Its my favorite of the series.
-Half-Life Original/BlueShift/Opposing Force - fun ol' Half-Life, I can't wait for the next delay of Half-Life3!!!
