I notice that these zombies don't "bite" but kick, scream, and punch. Where's the zombie in that? That actually makes sense if you ask me. Zombies (In general.) are sometimes missing half of their heads, skin on some parts and stuff, probably all due to rotting away - why the hell should they have a robust gingiva?
Also, final room, 13HP left (Pills are awesome.), all three mates dead, about five meters away from the safe room door a smoker comes in through the window and pulls me back. Fuck you, Valve.

As for your unfortunate encounter in the final room... that had to suck. I remember playing with Tsujoi, Mike, and Yushi, and it just happened so that there was a witch right next to the gun turret (in the corner of the room, but that's too close anyways). Apparently a pipe bomb doesn't kill the bitch (cuz I tried), and then I proceeded to get my ass handed to me.
@Klorofolun: what's your steam ID? We can get together play sometime.

God, I have so many stories from this game, AND IT'S ONLY THE FIRST TWO LEVELS. Fact: This game is going to kick ass.

Oh man, so many funny stories to share in just 2 play throughs of the first two levels.
One of my favorites is when we were playing around in the first building. One friend locks himself in the bathroom, while the other two guys go into the back bedroom. I'm still in the hallway and see the mass zombie mob rush from where we came from. I turn and run by our friend in the bathroom by himself, and make it to the bedroom where we are ready to unload at the door. The zombies chose to go into the bathroom instead of chase me, and continue to bash down the door and swarm him while he's screaming for help and yelling at the zombies. Good fun.
My second favorite is when our friend (same bathroom guy) was having the worst luck. I'm our rear guard, watching behind us and shutting all doors. As I shut one, a smoker busts through with his tongue(?), reaches past me, and grabs our friend dragging him down the hallway until I save him. Next room, he's in the middle of everyone, and gets jumped by a hunter. Then he insists on taking point, and very next room gets vomited on. To make matters worse, when we finally reach the alley, he's immediately jumped on by another hunter, then killed by a teammate who was trying to save him.
This was all on expert, which was a blast, but tough. I had so much fun, but I'm afraid I'd buy the game and get bored after a few days to a week.

I share that account with my brother (for now) who is not only underage, but hasn't had his mind raped by the internet.
Although if your Steam name is in that sticky, I'll send a little shout-out of sorts if I see you.

The game is insane! Oh man I play through a couple of times so I invite my sister into my group and its her first time playing it. oh god it was like I was on a god damn escort mission! but it was still good fun, once she got the hang of it and her bf joined in. I loved the the subway especially when you get a tank chasing you through a train.

Finally made it through it on Expert along with LX925 - it took us several tries (Mostly until the other guy on our team got the hang of it, seemed to be his first time.) and our 'escape' wasn't really glamorous - since we ran from some newcoming hordes due to boomer stuff - but we made it. I'm satisfied now. =P

Although, that guy's voice gets kind of annoying. >.>
And I have bad memories of that particular safehouse. The other team members literally locked me outside with the horde of zombie attacking me. Luckily, I had my boomstick. :P

ROFL, I've done the same thing to a friend, but he deserved it. We make it to the room, and he shoots the car on the way down to be funny. Since I'm on door duty, I'm waiting for him and tell him if I see zombies I'm shutting the door. He runs down, followed by a street full of zombies within arms reach of him. I laugh a little inside, and when he made it within 5 feet of the door, I slam the door shut. Screaming immediately followed.

Tank spawned in front of a revive door...haha, run away!@the video: "You used me like a pipe bomb!" repeat 2x. Haha, that guy had it coming to him... and he failed to shoot the Boomer in time. Like Yushi mentioned, those things have insane puke range... like 20 meters, and they run pretty quick for blobby hunk of dead meat.

Stand
I swear to god Boomers flock to me. They will puke across the map and hit me, be around every corner, fall from the sky, you name it and it happens to me. Just ask tsujoi, Yushi, g-money, and nacho. I got hit by so many Boomers. And of course I just fucking crack up every time.
Again, if you guys ever wanna play just send me a message.

That video was ROFLMAO worthy.
A highlight of nacho's and my run though expert was when coming out of the safe room at the beginning of the second level someone threw a pipe bomb out the door only to have it bounce back in some how.

The shotgun is my officially favorite weapon next to dual pistols. You know how the zombies just rush at you in a straight line unless they're by themselves? (They zigzag before actually running straight at you which makes it harder to aim when they're by their lonesome or twosome.) When they do rush, I find that the shotgun just rips through them; it literally blasts through multiple targets. I remember taking off 3-6 heads off with one blast of the shotgun. Ballin. As for dual pistols, if you crouch down, they make very handy sniper weapons. A good practice I found was to use the pistols first to either clear the area out of zombies or take out as many zombies as you can before switching over to the shotgun when they come en masse.
From playing single player (after that disasterous attempt at expert with the elite zombie team where it was my first time playing), there are some strategies I'd figure worth sharing. A life saving tactic I found out to be helpful is to actually hold out inside an enclosed/confined space or room when the mad mass of mobbing zombies come. It makes the area of fire smaller, limits the number of zombies coming at you due to the confines of the space, and instead of dealing with zombies from all sides, ideally you're only facing them in one or two directions. If I remember correctly on the second level, when you first ascend the stairs into the subway, there should be a closed off section of the subway either to your left or right (depending on which staircase you took). Clear out the zombies on the platform and those in the closed off tunnel. (Time passes till the music changes to signify a zombie rush, which should happen soon) I get my group members back into the tunnel and start blasting the shit out the zombies. Occasionally, I think some zombies climb over the other end of the tunnel where there's rocks piled up. (You can't get over that, but they can.) Another section that's great for fending off a zombie rush is the side tunnel a little further down the tunnel. Have three or two members fend off one end and the other one or two off the other. Becomes cakewalk. Of course, this strategy won't work if there's a tank or witch nearby because then all they'll do is run your asses into the ground without much room to manuever.
After you get out of the subway train and try to cross the basement level (it's a foggy gray area with loads of support pillars, which leads up to the boiler room with the turret), I find it much easier to just snipe all the zombies from the doorway with your pistols instead of charging in. I also note that a zombie rush almost never happened when I'm sniping the zombies from the doorway. (Except for the time where the zombie rush followed us up the stairs through the subway with a tank coming in from the basement... that ended in total disaster.)
Anybody find that the zombie rush comes at certain regular intervals? If you stay too still at a location for a while, I believe the Director will send a wave of zombies at you. In fact, half the time I'm playing, I'm always anticipating when the next outbreak will occur... anywhere from a half a minute to 3 minutes. (Experience from Normal and Advance.)
The game is a balance of charging ahead to reach a certain point (doesn't have to be a safehouse) and patiently clearing out the zombies in the area before moving on. Share tactics, anyone?

I'm slowly starting to prefer shoving over shooting. It does actually a decent amount of damage and it's the key to get out alive in the most situations - I've played with a friend and we had (Again.) mass zombies + boomer vomit spawn at the same time, coming in from two directions (First stage, where you need to jump through the hole in the ceiling.) I'm shoving at one entrance, my buddy takes the other one while crouching at the same time and the bots are shooting over our heads at the zombie waves and we managed to get out of this situation without a single point of damage taken, easy. You could theoretically just run around in a cross-shaped testudo formation and achieve absolute immunity to regular zombies.
I'm still having a lot of troubles with tanks on expert though, their hitpoints seem to be so random, one time the tank knocked out the other three players, charged my ass and I killed him in a very short time all by myself while some other time I'm setting him on fire, having the whole team shoot his ass with everything we've got and he just won't die no matter what, what the hell?
