Well, there's the Crossroads Mall level that was being made, but I'm doubtful as to whether that will be any good. :?

As for custom maps, here's a link: http://www.l4dmods.com/index.php?option=com_modmgr&view=packages&category_id=5&Itemid=87
As for the movie, I wonder if it'll be good. Romero's zombie films are decent, but while some rock, others flunked. I'm just wondering if the producers can reproduce an entire campaign from co-op/single player campaigns.
Got my Man vs. Tank achievement today, so I'm at 42/51.

I'm up for anyone playing on this custom L4D map: http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=54 (L4D zelda)
It's pretty fucking awesome, so if anyone's got free time, hit me up and we'll do the zelda map.
Finally got Zombie Genocidest!! 43/51 achievements, 8 more left.

Survival mode
5 seconds between tank spawns? Oh god.
Supposedly next week, but I think it was originally planned to come out a month or two ago so I'm not holding my breath.

Tell me when it's out, the DLC... I wanna see if anyone here can surpass 10 minutes on survival mode.

I've only been playing L2D for a bit over a month now, so my the amount of achievements I have are very little. I've done a lot of the easier ones, but now I'm hoping to get the others done soon. I'm not big on playing something for hours, so getting stuff like achievements done takes a while for me. I'm slowly getting good at the game though, I just need to keep playing it more.
I haven't even attempted to play it on expert. Maybe I should start sometime soon..

I have two words to describe the new DLC "Fukken Awesome!" Versus is crazy I haven't tried survival yet because my live buddies are not online yet.

God dammit why did I agree to go to work early? Killing zombies > wanting to kill co-workers/customers.

IT'S FUCKING OUT!!!
As for the Survival mode since I'm not a fan of versus, two words will suffice: FUCKING INTENSE. That, and you will not survive.
My best time is 4:52 on the lighthouse. I've had a friend get 12:28 on Dead Air, the Terminal. If anyone wants to, hook me up for Left 4 Dead and we'll play survival mode.

If you don't kill that first tank fast, its all over...
EDIT: If anyone wants to add me, heres my Steam community:

My best time for survival at the light house is 4:53:30, I got my first bronze star :D . In the lighthouse, where did you hold out? I went on top of the two water containers in the basement towards the very right.

At first, we held out on top of teh lighthouse, got us the 2:17, but once the tank got up there, it was over.
Second try, we held out in the main part of the house, over-run in under a minute.
Final try, we held out in the pump room, got to about 1:30 before I got thrown out by a tank, lost at 2:12.
Can't find a decent strategy for the lighthouse, but I'm gonna try again with a couple more friends tommorow.
(Note: There was only 2 human players, me and my friend.)

I forget the time, somewhere between 3 and 4 minutes on my first try with a random group. We held out at the very top, bailed when the tank came. My mouse battery died on me and I got stuck between a horde and a tank, bad end.

Me, Mike and some other dudes got +14 minutes on the Bridge at Blood Harvest. Probably the easiest way to go gold right there. Have two people camp on the boxes and the tank can't get them right away, a fatal trap. If it goes for someone on the floor there is still enough fire power to kill it quickly. And the medkits, ammo, guns, and grenades are right there. If you want an extra bonus for when the grenades run low collect all the gas cans, air cans, and propane tanks and store them in the second room and place them during a lull in the fight.
But the Warehouse in Blood Harvest looks fun, Gives you enough room to run around for supplies if you go to the other side of the alarm door and camp in the back. Too bad we lost a guy right when it started and then left Mike 4 dead at the alarm door.

Just solo-ed No Mercy Gas Station, got 3:38, or around there at least. It was actually alot easier than I thought, I just hung around the corner infront of the lift up-top till the tank came, then moved around a little. Only reason we lost was because around 3 minutes a tank knocked zoey and francis around till they were nearly dead. 3:15 we all had under 10 health.
Seems like the Lighthouse is hardest so far, but I've only played 3 maps, what do I know?

Well, I've gotten gold on the Warehouse in Blood Harvest at 10:11. Here's how we did it:
Hunter rifle is useless on this level, either autoshotty or assault rifle, though I prefer the autoshotty and I think it's the better weapon for this level. Grab gas cans, each of you, as well as molotovs. Close the back door and open the door that triggers the event and go through it and up the stairs. From there, the zombies will come in three directions, assuming that you are upstairs and facing the alarm door room:
1. the room itself
2. the somewhat blocked room halfway up the stairs
3. to your right on the upper level
Basically, start by using pistols only and use your primary weapon when feeling pressured. Start throwing gas cans one by one into the alarm door room doorway or room and set it on fire. Deal with tanks when they come. Smokers and hunters are no threat since they can't smoker you off the upper level due to the railings (they don't break) and the hunters can't jump up there except by going through the staircase, which one or more people should be guarding. Once the gas cans are gone, start throwing molotovs into the alarm door room. Don't waste them on the tank, since they have normal level health. Then once all molotovs and gas cans, and the extra gas cans lying around have been exhausted, fall back deeper into the upper level. Infected will come two ways: the staircase all the way to the right, or to your left. Pistols are a must because the ammo cache is too far away.
Leastwise that's how we got gold on this level.
As for the Terminal on Dead Air, the bathroom is probably your best bet. We could've gotten a way higher time, but I fucked up in grabbing another grenade and got fucked over during a grace period. (Thought I grabbed it, but didn't, tried again, got pounced, and the rest follows.) Autoshotties are your friend on this level. Will retry this soon, since our time was 5:32 or something like that.
As for Last Stand, we've tried many places, but it's fucking hard since walls break around you. We tried a corner in the house itself where the kitchen cabinets were. Stockpiled gas cans and held out there, getting 4:52 as our best time. I've seen a friend get 6:16 I think, and I haven't encountered anyone getting silver or gold on Last Stand.
As for the Gas Station on No Mercy, I believe I got 6:26. Went up the lift into the room. Held out there, and then moved lower. I have yet to find a solid strategy for this level once we get into the room and when to move lower, and the garage is a no go since the tank can easily incapacitate the survivors by coming in from the side and throwing the car.
