Funny story, on my second play through there was a witch under the generator room where the mini-finale takes place. Have watched the videos I posted early, I took out my auto shotgun, told my teammates I was about to do something stupid, walked over and when she got up I emptied a clip into her. It worked. Kinda disappointing considering she is suppose to be feared. They should change it so her scream summons a horde. Though that might be over doing it.

We're you playing Normal? Couldn't do that on Expert <.<

Edit: upon farther thought, the damage you do and the health of the infected doesn't change between difficulty levels, just the damage the infected do.

Haven't been keeping up with this topic like I should be but oh well...

Anyway I preordered this off Steam so I have been playing the demo recently. And as Yushi pointed out to me, I have 9 hours played on the demo. When the hell did that happen?!

Anyway, this game is the shit. It's so much better than I thought it was going to be, and I knew it was going to be good. Everything about it is great, sounds, graphics, gameplay. The AI director is outstanding and makes me wonder why no one came up with it before. I've been playing mostly on expert and there's nothing like going through the whole level to slip up at the end and die. Then you go through it again, find the next tier of weapons right away, but oh there's a Tank. You're fucked. Sometimes you'll go through areas that were PACKED with zombies, but this time around there's nothing but corpses. Or you're walking and they just pour out from windows or roofs on top of you. One time a friend was helping me on my feet, and a Smoker grabbed him and pulled him away from me and we both died. And the same goes with weapons. You've got to constantly look around because even though there are spawn points for molotovs, pipebombs, etc. there are A LOT of spawn points. You've got to make sure to keep your eyes open.

Anyway, I can't wait for the full game to come out. It's gonna be crazy.

i played with 1 friend and its WAS AWESOME! OMG I LOVE IT! This aint a run and gun, you stay in place and make sure you dont shot anyone cuz thats what kills a team...

I know the problem now - my video card sucks. Testing with single player, even that had problems, though not as bad as online play, so mad sorry for my shitty performance.

Still... fucking A. That was one, intense, zombie packed, game.

Well, I just played this for the first time on Expert. I got my ass handed to me... badly.

I guess patience is not my virtue. Good stuff though.

Played the Demo on 360 on expert the first time was easy as hell...then I played a second time and got my ass handed to me along with ma friends

Expert solo = easy

Expert Multi = hard

Apparently the multiplayer bots for the survivors are pretty good at coordinating themselves.

I hate smokers... and boomers, but smokers more.

And playing this game too much gave me a headache. The single player Survivor bots are laughably dumb, but OK.

I think the singleplayer bots are actually quite alright, they're fast at saving your ass, good at aiming and stuff.

But I haven't been able to finish it on Expert yet, I've always got those worst-case scenarios, just now when I thought the area would be clear, and tried to sneak past a witch mass zombies charged my way, startled the witch, then a boomer vomitted on two bots and just when I was about to clear that whole stuff with a explosive I got pulled out of the room by a smoker. And what the fuck, that's only the second map, it's actually supposed to be easy.

Dude, three special zombies at once + mass charge of running zombies? Dammmmn, that's fucked up. You would have to have godly skills to survive that SNAFU.

The only thing that you're missing from your worst-case scenario is a Tank running your asses over and a hunter T-bagging you. That, would've been the ultimate experience of getting your ass handed to you in a totally impossible situation.

Note: I notice that these zombies don't "bite" but kick, scream, and punch. Where's the zombie in that?
