Yeah. Oh well, not every VN is gonna do it for everyone. Plus, they're different genres. To give examples of other games, Fate Stay/Night had an epic story and Sengoku Rance had awesome gameplay. Both awesome games, but definitely different in content and are addicting for different reasons.

Still, I think the hype is justified given that it was the Getchu 2009 Game of the Year, the upcoming Majikois S game, the PS3 remake w/ multiple times the content and mini games, the anime, and the multiple manga spinoffs.

Baldr Sky was Getchu's game of 2009. Majikoi was #2.

No, I'm quite sure it's #1. Link straight from Getchu. Unless you're talking about the user rankings. I was going by number of sales since overall votes can be a bit... skewed. I.E. sales speak for themselves, while as an established fanbase (as with the Baldr series) can spam votes even without a purchase. You can see the sales/user rating disparity with Baldr. Man, this brings back the headaches from our "what route should we translate next polls" lol. Even then, Majikoi comes in No. 2 for user rankings. Main point is, it's a damn good game that is justified to hype.

Yandere, rather, TakaJun's got no plan to translate Majikoi S as of now. Maybe a joint request of a thousand person will change his imotou worshipping mind. = 3=

if those animated cutscene fights from Majikoi S were put on the anime.. it would be great :D

Well, they come from different retailers along with your purchase of Majikoi S, so:

1.) Fly to Japan for the release
2.) Get someone to do #1 for you
3.) Buy the goodies for marked up prices on the net if people decide to sell them

I'd like some of the Miyako stuff and her voice card as well =(

21% Now that Majikoi S seems to be released in 2-3 months time, I really want to play the Afterstory S for Mayuuchi now. From what I can understand from the 'Graphics' section of the website, Mayuuchi got very lonely because Yamato and Capt went on vacation.
