[Locked] Mass Effect 2

I freaking loved Mass Effect 2!

I really just had to go ahead and put that out there.

I played the 2nd game once and didnt even finish my 2nd playthrough. Tbh there was a bit too much change from the first. I liked it, but the first definitely still takes the cake for me.

I have the game as well as a bricked 360....
I don't know why this game hasn't gotten me to get it fixed yet. I played it and it's great. If this game can't get me to do so what will? Reach?

you love Mass Effect 2? i mean who doesn't? it's a great game though,. finished it in 2 weeks, 2 of my team mates died at the end,.

I've played through it a few times. I actually went back and created a new Shepard in ME1 with a different background (Spacer/War Hero/Soldier Class) just to see how it would be different. Plus I was also trying to get a ME1 play-through without a love interest so I could romance Tali guilt-free. I don't know why, but that voice of hers alone is just so damn sexy.

Then once you take in the whole package, she's incredibly intelligent. She knows her way around a shotgun and her body's not to bad either. I get all tingly just thinking about her. Hopefully Bioware will have something to make it up to us in ME3 that we don't get to see her face in ME2. Oh great now I sound like a Tali fanboy.

Anyway, I also got all the DLC, free & paid that has come out so far for both games. I also got most of the achievements on my first play through of ME2, in particular, "No One Left Behind". I just need to get a few of the tactical achievements and the difficulty achievement.

I dont want to be rude, but here is already ME2 thread...

I really enjoyed it. I was a little leery because rarely does a sequel outdo its predecessor anymore, but I feel that Mass Effect 2 completely outdid Mass Effect.

I feel it was the right decision to orient the game more on the combat segments almost ala Gears of War rather than focus on the RPG aspect related to weapon treasure hunting, upgrading, drawn-out menus, etc...

I think it improved on everything from the first game with the exception of random looting. I hated that everything boiled down to credits. I'm not sure what I expected since you only ever upgraded your weapons off of dead bodies or otherwise, but doing the nice mini-games felt stupid when it was only going to amount to more credits. Very rarely outside of the start of the game, did I find myself in a credit crunch. It would have been much better if say half off those loots were huge mineral deposits rather than the lackluster ones you found in a level. *shrugs*
