Legends all the way baby. Fan choice between Roll (who isn't his blood relation this time around) or Tron Bonne (tsundere/yandere girlfriend), who Mega gets to see both nude (offscreen).
That and The Bonne siblings are simply awsome.

the originals were okay, but I have to go with either Zero or X, I also thought the first of the battle networks series was fun, as it was unfairly difficult half the time.

Big fan of the franchise. It's a toss-up between the classic and X series. They both have had a few "iffy" spots, but they are ultimately enjoyable all the way through. It's amazing that Capcom can basically make the same game(s) a dozen times and I'll still be excited to play them; like a loyal dog I guess.
Flash Man's stage music ftw

Gotta say I like the X series more - better story, but classic is still damn good.
On the subject of classic, if you all haven't heard of them, check out the band The Protomen. they are a rock opera based on the story of Mega Man. They actually sound awesome, unlike when most bands try to sing about video games - they tell a gloomy story based on the original games.

The difficulty on those were set just like the previous megaman series, difficult yet possible to beat in time. the style change feature added to it a lot too (and in blue and white with the two color specific styles pitted against eachother). When I played BN4 I thought they took a major step back, killing style change for a very poor technique they called the soul cross or whatever. having to sac a chip for just 3 turns of an enhanced charge shot wasn't worth it. I did however, enjoy the dark chips a lot.
I won't talk about BN5&6 other than the fact that they were appealing because you could control different navis for the first time, the problem was, those games had absolutely no challenge in them whatsoever compared to BN1-3.

When I think of the Blue Bomber, I only think of 2 games: Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3. Both are close to my heart for their own reasons. MM2 got me into the series when I rented it, and MM3 was the first one I ever owned.
