And the part that many of you will be happy with, is that both collections will be on PS3 and 360, so we get less fragmentation. Metal Gear Solid 1 is not in the Metal Gear Solid Collection, however. I'm much more excited for the Zone of the Enders Collection personally, loved those games to death.
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will contain Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The Zone of the Enders HD Collection will pack Zone of Enders and Zone of the Enders 2. Both collections have been optimized and rebuilt for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with new user interfaces for the HD resolutions, redrawn art, brand new Trophies/Achievements, right analog stick and rumble support, and improved audio.

Ok, I've never really played Zone of the Enders but the MGS bundle has me stoked. This is, I might just cancel my battlefield 3 preorder to get this.

Screw MGS, since there are now literally two remakes of MGS3. HOLY SHIT ZOE HD COLLECTION!!! And since Kojima stated that it's Transfarring compatible, that means...PORTABLE ZOE HD COLLECTION!!! Damn...thank you Kojima for FINALLY paying attention to ZOE. It was nice that he had Beyond the Bounds kicking in for the announcement.

MGS 3/Peace Walker and Zone of the Enders rereleases on next gen consoles? SWWEEEET. Does this mean a sequel for ZOE 2nd Runner is going to finally be revealed?

ZOE wasn't as good gameplay wise as the second one was, but I will play the shit out of them nun the less. ZOE doesn't get enough recognition as it should what with the MGS franchise towering over it. So looking forward to this.

Apparently, the included ZOE2 is the Special Edition, meaning that Vic Viper will be a hell lot more balanced in VS Mode and also that all the Orbital Frames consistently regenerate due to that Self-Supporting Armor. Similarly, the included MGS3 is Subsistence, so I expect the extras to be awesome
