Hey Everyone!
First Of All, I just wanna say Sorry If I'm Creating Another Metro 2033 Topic If another one already exists..
Now that that's over, I, as a former Player of one of this Years Better games namely Metro 2033, truly think it is an awesome game.
Just curious though, am I the only one who thinks this way? Post and vote what you think/feel after playing Metro 2033 and maybe some nice info about any news regarding similar games (except S.T.A.L.K.E.R series) that might interest others :D

Lol I already made a topic for this game before it came out, It was really good,I preordered it too and it was everything I expected, the only downside is that it was way too short. My answer: Loved it

I agree, the game did seem a tad short but it was probably around the same length as Half-Life 2. But then again, I never really gave FPS games the credit for being 20+ hour bullet marathons, with exception to maybe Far Cry 2.
At this point in time I'm starting to think that Metro 2033 has some of the best monster designs that I've seen in recent games. Those Demons definetely earn their name and the Librarians climbed the rank in my list of "Things I Don't Want To Run Into In A Dark Alley".

You think they plan on making more metro games? Even though there are only few books? Or game in the same light as metro?

Hate is such a strong word.. I found it a bit tedious and same old but it's a pretty solid. Solid, but boring.

The sheer lack of advertising for this game still kinda pisses me off. I have yet to see a single commercial or magazine ad for this game. I love Metro 2033, and everyone I talk to about this game has never even heard about it. I only found out about it because I read the book and saw that there was a game based on it while I was looking at the list of games available for pre-order at GameStop. I pre-ordered, got the auto-shotgun and $10 discount and enjoyed the game. I told my cousin about the game a week ago and got him to check it out, now it's one his favorite games.

Spoiler:
Indeed, this game has received very little Adverts..the least i've ever seen..The only way I found out about it was an e-mail I got by subscribing to THQ forums. Soo Glad I did that ^^
Spoiler:
True there are some tedious parts but aside from that , the realism and feeling of the game kinda makes you forget about those things..It's one of this Year's better games which I can't imagine myself not ever playing >.< Glad that it doesn't take after the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series though. :D

i like this game, i really do...the only complaints i have are they should put more weapons...the combat shotgun is really pain in the ass, very hard to reload especially during emergency time...and they should set a certain button for melee only...that's all i have to say...others are just ok to me...8)

What's also a bonus I'm the first person in my country to get the 1000G on it. :D

See, my Gamestop didn't do shit for Metro 2033. I found the damn game by looking through a binder that contained a list of games that were coming soon and that were available for pre-order. And when I decided to pre-order Metro 2033, the clerk almost had me pay for the new Metroid game instead. He didn't understand what I was talking about until physically pointed out the name of the game on said list. It's kinda bad when the people at the store are selling games that they didn't even know they had.
