[MF, Torrent] [Eng] Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited

Use 7zip to combine the file and you can extract the file out using winrar

For installation
1. Mount MuvLuv Extra Dvd but dont install it.
2. Run ml-r2m from Amaterasu translation
3. Mount MuvLuv Unlimited dvd when the installation ask for cd 2
4. Enjoy the game

This error is the only thing holding me back. Can anyone lend me a hand on this issue? Just to make sure: I have japanese unicode and non-regional set correctly.





PS: I really think Ameturasu deserves two thumbs up for their speed and quality of work.

Edit 2: WTF. Works on my C drive but not on my D drive. This is odd because my C drive usually beats the shit out of my programs whereas D doesn't give a shit.... Maybe rUGP is a Masochist program? Either way my problem's solved. sorry for the clutter post but i'd rather not look like a nutjob by replacing it.

Playing it atm and its alot of fun cant wait for unlimited :D

Some error happening when the 1st op movie is going to run

For those with any problems regarding the installation of the translation patch, I recommend going to Amaterasu Translation's forums and have a look through their error reporting thread (or any other threads that might help you with your problem).

A word of thanks to them wouldn't hurt too.

You finished EXtra and click start Unlimited right?
Remember the ISO stuff you downloaded?
Mount the Unlimited iso and click "Yes"

It kinda confuse me... Is it for the Mediafire? How about the torrent file?

I'm currently downloading the torrent which contains MuvLuv DVD.rar. Which takes me 2-4 days to download(not downloading 24/7, I usually turn off my computer if not in use)

Assuming I can use what keny2020j says:
To install... I'll extract the Downloaded file and Muvluv Extra and Unlimited DVD appears... Then Mount MuvLuv Extra DVD and then run ml-r2m from amaterasu(this is a patch right? How can I install Extra if I'll then proceed to mount MuvLuv Unlimited DVD and install it?

And any other method which I can safely Install this game from torrent?(What I meant to safe is that I won't face any installation/play error.) Or what method did you use and you didn't have a problem installing and playing this game? And which is better and safer(same meaning) to download to. Mediafire or Torrent.

The installation process is fairly simple. You have the choice to install from the CDs if the game is not detected on your system, or you can patch over an existing install. The built-in full game installer requires both CDs since it also installs Muv-Luv Unlimited.
If the patch detects that you are installing the patch for the first time and Vmreg\gdb.uuc already exists, it'll copy the file into the "backup" folder. gdb.uuc contains various things and also contains some information that needs to be changed for the translation. If you want to keep your old gdb.uuc file, copy the gdb.uuc file from the "backup" folder and overwrite it with the one in Vmreg. If you choose to do this, you MUST go to the Text Settings option menu and click the Reset button or else all of the character text will be the wrong color.

it should be really easy and intuitive, no need to worry until you actually get an error.

I have downloaded the torrent file and extract the file. Mount extra and use ml-r6.exe to install file. After installing using disc 1(extra) it ask me to insert disc 2 and I mount unlimited. But it doesn't work. I click ok but it still ask me to insert disc 2. How do I solve this problem?
