Most EPIC CoD commercial if I ever seen one, I didn't know that was Jonah Hill all this time until I watched a clip of SuperBad and looked at him now, good to see he's shaped up for a commercial like this, he and Sam Worthington would make a good comedy/action duo if this were an actual movie.

Yep, comedians are the best

I'm not skipping the game because the plot is similar to another game that I've played in the past. In fact, MW3's plot is actaully quite different. That said, the plot is also so goddamned retarded that I really have absolutely no reason to spend money to play the game. I feel I should also note that I have no interest in the multiplayer as Battlefield 3 is currently scratching that itch and Saints Row 3 is just a couple of weeks away, and is sure to soak up a LOT of my time in the future.

Bought MW2, never once played the campaign. I got it for the multiplayer. Same reason Im getting MW3.

Video games that rely heavily on multiplayer have a very shaky platform to stand on, depending on the gamer's tastes anyway. See, if I'm not playing with my friends, then I hardly ever touch the multiplayer in a lot of the games I own. This is largely due to the fact that people are generally assholes in online multiplayer. This is especially true in COD and Halo. Sure, you'll find somebody cool every once in a while, but they're few and far between. There's also the near complete lack of teamwork when playing with strangers as they would all rather go lone wolf than help out their struggling teammates. Try playing Rush in Battlefield 3 when your entire squad would rather go sniping than help you defend the MCOM station, which is currently under siege by at least a dozen enemy soldiers and an amtrac.

Reason why I didnt get Battlefield 3. Well it's mostly that it didnt catch on to me. I was a Counter Strike player as I grew up. I found COD closer to it. Also, if its online with my friends, I gotz Black Ops Zombies for that. Since we all have different tastes for online multiplayer. SOme are BF3 fanatics while some are COD and some hang on to Halo.

Just got the game after midnight release over here in Japan... awesome system, if only a bit too similar to the past ones. But hey, multiplayer's kickass as always: between this and Battlefield, I have no shortage of fulfilling my desire of fragging complete strangers on my off time.

I originally wanted to use a gorrila and a shark doing a high five with an explosion in the background. It didn't let me. (ノ▼д▼)ノ ~â”»â”â”»

So far I don't like the maps. They all look very grey and not much color. Also very CQC focused and too many chokepoints, movement seems very limited. Snipers on the other hand are fixed and feel easy as hell to use for some reason. QS is back and stronger than ever due to no SP for the other guns.

I agree with you on that. Without any teamwork, Battlefield 3 can also become one of the most frustrating multiplayer experiences out there. I don't have anything against COD or Halo, it's just that they don't seem to push teamwork nearly as much as Battlefield does, which just makes the latter even more frustrating when people still choose to ignore their team regardless.
As you could probably guess, I take the game's community into account for online multiplayer. I used to love playing AvP until it got flooded by little kids and all my college level comrades bailed on it. Similarly, Halo and COD, while great games in their own right, have a bad history of attracting a lot of assholes and annoying players in general.
