Monster Hunter 3rd Portable [Operation Cherry Blossom]

I'm liking the game so far. I picked up the jpn version and patched a partial english translation, I was a bit suprised when the jinouga(if thas how u spell it) appeared on the bulldrome mission...Yeah it destroyed me lol but it was a fun fight nonetheless.

actually it is because the whole game is easier until the HR5+ quests
I managed to graduate from villiage in two days, wearing the original armor until the last star missions because I want to prepare for HR5 missions.

they lowered the hit box of monsters. they get stamina and will get tired out, you also have two cats for support.
even the harder quest is no where as hard as before

Just finished the 4 star elder quests >.> lol I like the pumpkin armor you get lol its pretty awesome

you will shit bricks at the elder's final invitation quest.

just made the Negima! weapon quest.
next DL quest: JUMP Pirate Armor,Switchaxe and Twin blade!

after 86 hours, finally arrived to HR6! my fd finished the final 8 star urgent quest with this time lol

there is an interview with the capcom and apparently the nexy monster hunter MAY switch to 3DS next!

how are you gonna play Monhan with splited monitor like that and no analog? with the pen?

well, the top will probably show the map, or something
while the bottom will show the main screen.

MY problem with the 3DS is, THERE'S NO ANALOG.

How are we supposed to move the camera, I already got my Finger claw perfected....

and I DON'T WANT to Slash my stylus on the screen, just to swing my weapon...

3DS has analog, but it's placed above the D-Pad. Prepare to adapt to new and worse controls if it ever comes out to 3DS.

Still a rumor, but that's very likely considering 3DS' better spec and the hype that's going on right now. If I were Sony's exec, I'd lick Capcom's CEO's boots, give him all my money, offer my anal virginity or whatever to prevent this from happening because MH to PSP is like Pokemon to DS, and the moment it got ported to 3DS it's game over for Sony, by the time PSP2 comes out it will be all too late.

agreed, I wonder if they are going to make a very big changes to the game to fit it onto 3DS.
NDS itself is great but not a lot of game actually utilize the duel screen and touch screen very well. I wonder if the games for the 3DS will utlilize the 3D screen at all...

@etis it'll pretty cool to hunt and see the monsters in 3D but it's still going to be weird.

FYI there's dual Jinouga quest.and black tigrex are lot stronger than regular tigrex.
i'm almost at the high hunter rank quests in guild but just from the Downloaded quest that i got,i'll shit bricks alot.

more like /slitwrists lol yeah did you ahve alot of trouble getting a jinouga plate? I've killed the bastard like 16 times and got nothin >.> also the naracacuga switch axe is a sweet wpn :P and I've seen a vid of the black tigrex >.> fml he looks evil

right now i'm HR 4 and when first time i fought purple royal ludroth,it took me 20 minutes to kick his ass.

currently using high royal ludroth great sword and armor def 45.
gonna do the JUMP quest to get the pirate armor.

@shawn yeah i got lots of it.
the black tigrex also got 2 new moves and his scream is greater than the normal one.

I never raised my HR so it's the Hidden Saber, so obviously I'm not making the Hidden Saber+ lol.

I think I know what went wrong, I need 1 more Naruga Tail Spike, but since I was using GL all the time, I never cut off his tail.

I just did that recently and got the other 1 (when I said I need 2) when I cut off it's tail..
Damn thing.. .>_>

sometimes just damaging the tail can get the tail.
but it's hard to cut that bastard's tail because you can only cut it when it's in rage mode.

In 2nd G I got tails alot more and now you cant only cut it when he's enraged??
