Holy shit! Is this the gameplay or something? Looks amazing, but too bad it's for the 3DS only..

If its not bad and the controls and nice I might consider gettin a 3DS...then I have to get zelda also :3 jumping on the rathalos...thats awesome

I'm still kinda confused on why they announce Monster Hunter 3g and Monster Hunter 4 on the same handheld... Blows my mind.

From what I'm seeing, the map isn't divided into segments anymore, so its all one map now.

As awesome as it is, the trailer looks way too scripted..

at first i was "what?",then i was "....huh".

why is the 4th one is in handheld/portable console,not the usual heavy one like Wii or PS3? kinda weird.

and i know i raged because Tri G is in 3DS but they also make the next one for it too? kinda greedy.

even though it's kinda cool to see we can interact with the surrounding landscape as well as the monsters too but like kaimax said,it's too scripted. the actual gameplay might not that well played.

Really Capcom? No thank you. I don't wanna play a game of such proportions on a small ass screen. I will wait for a home console release.

We fans will need to admit that Capcom now only looks for more profit compare to their care toward the fans as what they do ML3.(Yeah a bad example but i think thats the closest one to what ur guys feeling seeing all MH move to 3DS while u guys fans have been asking for MH on console but MH4 is not confirmed that it will not be multiplatform so u guys can still hope for the best.)

I know I'm just butthurt from seeing what they did to MH3G. I just hope they DO make MH4 multiplatform so we can enjoy it to the fullest.

Well don't be so serious. I think i can not really help u guys by telling u guys to calm down as i own 3DS and i am really happy for the release of MH on 3DS but i also knows the feeling of some game that u have been following suddenly move to other console while u have been following the console only for the game. The only thing i could say is lets hope for MH4 for multiplatform(As capcom does not announced exclusivity yet), who knows i could play with u guys using other console while i use my 3DS.

You guys realize that
a. 3ds is region locked, and it's once again unlikely we'll get a western release, so you'll have to import a 3ds (with the added control expansion)
b. even with the expansion controller, camera controls seem at this point in time to be absurd.

most of us are used to clawing, and I've seen how you're meant to use the camera in the 3g iteration, it looks retarded. there's also going to be a semi lock on feature, where pressing a button will center the camera on the monster.
dont ask how that'll work on multi hunts, or if we'll even be seeing them.
with the back of the vita working as a touch screen, I can't see why capcom hasn't thought of releasing it for the vita instead, though I assume they've made some sort of deal to release a number of them on nintendo consoles.
It's early days yet, but so far this looks weak.
