Ok Monster hunter Pro in the house. Bring these items for success.

1. Ancient Potion x 1
2. Mega Potions x 10
3. Potions x 10
4. Honey x 10
5. Flash Bombs x5
6. Bomb material x10
7. FlashBug x 10
8. Mega demondrug x3
9. Mega Armorskin x3
10.Farcaster
Dont forget your stam items btw >.> Mega juices helo alot with stam lost from blockin also XD

Armor: I'd have to say Tigrex or Gravios. Tigrex for quick eat and auto tracker.
Gravios for DEF and Guard.

Weapons: NO LONGSWORDS! people use these so much and tirgex and HR6 is to powerful for what you get before then. Use Gunlance OR lance OR SwordNshield

Lance: Use the lance made from horetaur mats it has paralysis which is very effective against Tigrex along with Lightning weapons.

Gunlance: MUST be long shot type: Silver chariot=Beast made from Iron gunlance series after imperial gunlance need lotsof money and mats but worth it.

Sword and shield: Upgraded Kirin weapon is the only way to go kirins a bitch but easy.

Hmm if you two can fight well with tigrex then it wouldn't so hard.,

Just fight separately., since health of tigrex is decreased to 6/8 than one tigrex on hard mission.,

the first tigrex will spawn at area 1 so fight him on that area first,
for armor ceanataur U is good enough though autotracker will be great and use weapon that you are very good at

bring lots of flashbombs and recovery items, and always keep track of the monster if you did it correctly you should be able to kill the first tigrex under 15 minutes. took me 35 minutes for first try with gunlance

I don't think real pro's use those,in fact i think they even call FB users *noobs*

It takes 6 min for me to kill a tigrex with a great sword without healing and stuff.

If you want to kill it easy just look for some *show off* video guides on youtube.

This is how you kill on Monster Hunter: you scream, "Gotcha bitch" every time a monster is about to close in and let loose your sword.

i don't think that's true it is just form of elitism, you are a noob if you throw those flashbombs like no tomorrow, it is fine to use flashbomb but you need to assess the condition to be appropriate to use it

it's relatively easy to get by without flashing once you know the attack patterns of the monster and learn the proper zoning techniques. and in high and g-ranks flashing monsters makes them move more randomly making the fight longer.

well it really depends on monsters,it is true that some monsters are more unpredictable when they are flashed but sometimes it is necessary to flash them to save your breath, i usually use flashbombs for farming esp GnS or recovering/sharpen

oh right.. tigrex... just stay on the left side of tigrex (your right side) whatever your weapon may be.. you can see chances on how to strike.. and oh.. you and your teammates should coordinate your positions.. and its best to have a team leader.. because if you play without anything planned it might cause you... "done for" right... see to it that you brought everything you need.. traps, potions, and..... a very useful weapon... oh well i hope this helps... hammer or greatsword..

right Flash Bombs makes you so blind that you couldnt see the real behavior of tigrex so try to observe his movements... observation is basics for hunting.. XD so goodluck...

I could kill a tigrex under 10 mins with a hammer..
Use lots power ups dont forget to bring power talons and shock traps then bommmmmmm
hit him with a charge attack and triple slams...
hammer is the best weapon there is in MHFU

well in my perspective.. XD all weapons just works fine.. each has its own specialty.. but i have to admit that Hammer is good and so is the Great Sword..
