Monster Hunter Portable 3rd

So hopefully by now you have heard the new on the new installment in the monster hunter series, I myself am a huge fan of monster hunter i have logged about 1500 hours in total throughout the series but excluding MH1 and Frontier (it's too much i know) but i digress the point of this thread was to see what the MH fans on Fakku would like to see in this new title.
So lets hear your ideas, mostly what new weapon would you like to see, or a new monster maybe even some small tweaks they hope to improve on.
And i would like to start by giving my ideas, i have thought of many new weapons that could be used but if one would be the best it would have to be a fist and leg attachment something you can fight with throwing punches and kicks and the R button would work as a style change, you would go from heavy strikes with slow movement, to quick jabs with better mobility and even a open hand slash to change from blunt strikes to slash moves on the fly. and for armor how about there being two sets for every kind not gunner and blademaster but a blademaster light weight speed armor and a heavy weight slow defense armor. Just some quick ideas so lets hear yours!

I hope they retain the elder dragons ;_; I heard monsters that appeared in MHP2 and even those that appeared in MHP isnt gonna make it over to MHP3. Only monsters that will remain are Rathalos, Rathian, Diablos, Naruga and Tigrex...

The ONLY thing I hate about the japanese release is. . .
No one wants to play with you, because they don't like UNTRANSLATED stuff.
And then when the english version comes out everyone's like ape shit on the game.
Then everyone suddenly owns the game, and you try connecting to play some adhoc with them but the ENGLISH VERSION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE JAPANESE VERSION
Then I'll be left with the choices of:
A: Play with japanese people online (Infrastructure yay!)
B: Make a NEW account and start from scratch
C: Play alone
D: Go to japan

This was my experience with MH2PG,except choice A wasn't available at the time. So I had to make a NEW account with MHFU, Fuck regional settings.

I know Exactly how you feel man, i had the same Exact problem i played G for 200 hrs translated then it finally came out and i didn't want to make a new profile, but i finally did and only got about 50 hrs before i gave up and now I'm on Tri.
Also to the others yes there are other threads, so sorry about that, but i wanted to hear your opinions on new additions to the game. if that doesn't constitute making a new thread then i am doubly sorry...

two things capcom needs to do

1. Add new monsters to MH3 via event or Urgent (online)
2. Find a way to make the camera in the PSP titles less clucky.



Also, Remove or decrease the time for the "food pose". healing without interruption is nothing sort of a miracle or you got lucky.

its call the cooking skill +10 = quick eating. its make you do everything involving food potions etc etc much faster

Good thing the portable has infrastructure, that means I don't need real friends! I could play the (patched and translated) monster hunter portable 3, I'm just hoping papimeru is still alive

did you do that thing were you got wifimax and tunneled your conection so you can play with people online, man i remember setting that up such a hassle. If not then you should have.

I made the mistake and got Freedom unite 2 for psp. I just couldnt get into it. Note I was only 10 into it. The small missions and I couldnt get any cool weapons threw me off. I enjoyed MH for ps2 better. If the made one for ps3 I would be happier.

Ya but ninetendo bought the rights for the Wii but you should try freedom unite fo rthe psp its alot better the 2nd starts very slows with crappy missions thought but once you get to HR 6 things get hard but then its more fun
