It needs to go to the ps3 and 360, Monster hunter is much better online than offline...and Nintendo just doesn't know what the fuck there doing when it comes to online support.

the monster hunter franchise is way too popular in the PSP, they are definitely not giving up on that handheld anytime soon. There's a game clone of monster hunter being released on the PSP too (called God Eater), and if capcom takes a break from the PSP, they may lose alot of "loyal" customers =p

I'm just hoping they bring his game to the west.

even so the wii doesn't hold the processing power to support a game like monster hunter online

Monster Hunter Tri was originally to be a PS3 exclusive, but bidding wars started due to the extremely high success rate of this franchise. Sadly, Sony was too cheap to buy what could have been their biggest console seller. Now it goes exclusively to the Wii. There is currently little to no chance of this title ever making it to the PSP, though that is not engraved in stone so there is a possibility of it somewhere down the road, it is just HIGHLY unlikely.
