NDS Lite or DSi?

Going to buy Nintendo DS, but I'm note sure is buying DSi really worth it? I'd like to buy a new one, which means +70$ (towards DSi).
The main reason of buying it is Love Plus.
Question: DSi has 16 MB memory, so it must affect 3D graphics in this game? Or it doesn't? What about the upcoming Love Plus+?
Please tell me if there any difference in perfomance between DSL and DSi.

DSi XL you mean
But the DS lite works better with 3D games like final fantasy crystal chronicles since its D-pad is out more than the DSi's

Like everyone said, hold out for the 3DS
however, if you need that gba slot go for the lite. I've heard mixed things about the DSi, the main negative being that it wasn't compatible with gba

Yeah, the DSi removed the slot to play gba games. But even if you didn't plan on playing gba games anyway, I'd still get a DSlit. It's cheaper and it's more or less the same thing as the DSi. (Extra features you're more then likely never use aren't much of a selling point.)

Love Plus+ is being released for the DS but just wait for the 3DS. It's a long while to wait.

3DSNuff said. If you can't wait, go for the Ds lite.
^this, it'll all be worth it when Ocarina of Time 3D is out.

The best option is to wait for the 3DS, but you can buy the DSi too, but not the XL, is just like the DSi but bigger, nothing more. A personal recomendation, definitively DSi

Yeah, I don't really have any expectations towards future games and consoles or something.
Ok, I've got my DS Lite now, and I have one more question: which kind of adapter will be enough for playing games released up to 2009? A simple R4?

ewwww R4 those things kinda drain the battery, also if you want a cheap DS buy an original one

if you want to be able to play old Advance games, go with Lite.
For more downloadable stuff and the cameras, do DSi.
