New Franchise-Based MMOs

So I'm in the middle of a slice of delicious pizza when all of a sudden I get clonked on the head by the most random idea in the world: Wouldn't a 3D Pokemon MMORPG be just about the greatest thing in the world (Assuming you like Pokemon)? Nintendo's already got wireless capabilities on the DS and folks are fighting each other over the internet as we speak, so why not take the 3D Pokemon game fans have been clamoring for for the past ten years or so and put it online?
What about the rest of you? Anyone else got a franchise they'd like to see go MMO?

I'm not into MMORPGs, but regarding a Pokemon MMORPG, many fans have tried making them, and I was even tracking a somewhat popular (2D) one, but development was halted and no reason was given. I later learned that Nintendo had issued a Cease and Desist for all pokemon MMORPGs.
I'm sure some still exist or are still in development. Just not as many as before.

That would be a great idea, but Nintendo's policy is to not expose children to the dark-side of online gaming. Since there always exists twisted individuals in cyberspace (me included), that would give them easy access to young children, which is counter productive to Nintendo's reputation for being family friendly. That is probably the main reason that there isn't a Pokemon mmo yet.
