The first Naruto PS2 game (with the same gameplay like this) was so frustrating (mainly because I don't originally own the PS2 and was unfamiliar with the controls).
I still like the Ninja Clash (the latest Japanese one .. 4 I think?) for Gamecube because it has a more manga feeling to it. Plus 2 vs 2 roxx0rz my soxx0rz.

as far as I'm aware the latest Clash of Ninja is "Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX," which is basically Clash of Ninja 5 (for the Wii). I'm currently ripping through the 4th one on Gamecube, and I think I finally got all the characters. I just have to finish all the missions now :roll: .

yeah. it's in Japanese. I also had to go through some bull shit with Datel to get a freeloader that worked. Just to beat you to the question, Freeloader is a disk for gamecube that lets you play games from other regions on your gamecube. In other words, if you have a US GC, you can't play UK or JP games w/o it. it's an alternative method to getting a mod chip.

Sadly, I wish there was a way to play the new Naruto for the Wii, since the gamecube style is a lot more enjoyable IMO. They need one of those 'region free' things from Datel so I can buy the new Naruto for the wii.

I took a year of Japanese now, so I can pick up things, but I mostly cain't understable. Usually, GameFaq's has people explaining how to do things, and trial and error usually works well also. :)

I've had Narutimate Hero Accel or whatever its called downloaded for about a week now. Its pretty funtastic, easy to unlock all the guys with a little help from a walkthrough(if you dont read japanese). The only downside is they released it way too early and a lot of the newer akatsuki members are not in it as well as a lot of the older version of the konoha ninja. Oh well, still fun.
Oh by the way, if you want to play Ps2 games for free get HDAdvance or HDExtreme, a hard drive and a network adapter, works like a charm :)

Anyway, some of the Naruto games can use a bit of tweaking when it comes to four player battles. Maybe not have who you are targeted so pre-determiend before battle, and not have people so close together.

i think for the naruto games, im gonna wait til the 3rd instalments of clash and whatever the ps2 series is called are out and down to $20 or less. from my understanding both series really pick up on the 3rd games. hopefully the 3rd sony one comes out on ps2 as well, i have no intention of spending the money on a ps3.

i really like to play naruto games... i just wish that they would take the fighting style of storm and combine it with an open world. one similar to broken bond, but more like kingdom hearts 1 or 2 (especially with the way enemy's appear )

I played broken bond and loved the online... they made itachi way too over powered though with his three shot kill style.... I wasted everyone with his gay Screen goes black, you explode. Technique...
For Chalange I used Characters like Rock Lee who entirely rely on speed since they are not power houses.
I always remember there was one guy I met in the finals online who used the Third Hokage and pwned me ... he was just a master of evasive Manuvers ;o I had to Plan to "where he was going to be" rather than where he was... because him standing still at the begging of the match was always bullshit and he'd pop out of nowhere and eat you alive...
