hmm the video makes me think of the game like a dynasty warriors/pokemon hybrid.

Well it is actually hybrid except the fact that it is not hack and slash type of game byt srpg with Nobunaga's ambition style lol.

To me the game looks like it will be a tile-based RPG fighter simlilar to gameplay in games like Final Fantasy Tactics; Rift of the Grimore A2. My thoughts are that it could work but it matters much on the story and the inclusion of human playable characters- which I doubt they are going to use. But like others I cannot pass judgement on this til it is released.

Pokemon with Samurais in it, just great, what's next? Pokemon with a Type 38 Arisaka with Bayonet mount?

Why are you complaining? You're like those people complaining that "Reveangance" is a stupid name for MGS. It may be so, but that doesn't make it any less camp-flavoured cool. We need more camp. Everywhere. Everything camp. Especially MGS. BUT ESPECIALLY POKEMON.

I'm Complaining because Pokemon is hitting Rock Bottom, my first Pokemon was Pokemon Yellow and I still remember does days of me playing with my gameboy color, everything had still a touch of modernity, but seriously, What the hell's happening? Samurai? Seriously? Thats just rubbish.

I think you'll find samurais are a marked improvement.

I mean, Pokemon has always been about a lone kid fighting off a gigantic, secretive criminal organization. I recall there were ninjas at one point. Is samurai really that much of a step down?

More like they don't want to risk endangering the early adolescent age group they thrive on with such a venture by exposing them to certain traits of online play.
