But yes, but Shogun said: how is the demo? I'm actually excited for it, but NG3 is flopping like this, I'm worried now.
It is flopping indeed. I may not agree with the score however the game is having problems for example lots of online passes are registering as invalid.
I find appalling the fact Tecmo Koei even bothered using online passes. For pete sake no one I know of were pirating or stealing their games. I would like to hear your opinion on this matter as well artcellox.

That... would be a very difficult matter to converse on, seeing as how not just video games, but 90% of digital media from Bangladesh is pirated, to adjust with our poor economy and weak currency.
Truth be told, though, I don't get this whole online pass thing, but if it's like Assassin's Creed 2's DRM (need internet connection to even play), it's fucked up. :|

I see well it does not seem to be the same the pass is only for online play. AC:II pass was for both online and offline play.

Then I couldn't really give a damn about the pass, seeing as how I'm mostly a campaign-gamer. Besides, a game like this is meant to be single-player only. Why even put online play?

Beats the hell out of me. The multiplayer is a bit dynamic. I think they have a competitive multiplayer, a co-op multiplayer, and so-so special missions of some sort. Bottom line is that the competitve multiplayer is a joke it seems as if it was a last ditch effort to feel up the disc with data(wasted potential in my opinion). The other modes are fine however you have to have the pass to even access them. I miss the days when people would buy a game and get all the content or at least could beat the game and unlock it by completing challenges and etcetera.

Not to mention couch co-op. Split-screen/same-screen gaming were some of my favorite moments back then. ;3;

Yup. This project probably even broke some kind of record, reaching its goal in just under 2 days, 50% being done in just 12 hours.
I, for one, am excited to get my hands on the series that inspired THE Fallout games. :D

This particular Fallout MMO you speak of I thought got cancelled good to know people want it to succeed. The art design and what not is top notch. It would have been such a shame to see all that potential go to waste.

Oh, no no no. That's a separate thing DID get cancelled, and was being done by what was left of Interplay, I guess. .__.
If you watch the video, more will be explained, but basically, the guy behind this, Brian Fargo, was the founder of Interplay (makers of the original Wasteland and Fallout 1 & 2). Now, he's founded a new company, inXile Entertainment (A Bard's Tale; Hunted: The Demon Forge). He always wanted to make a sequel to the 1988 original, but licensing issues arose. Instead, he (while at Interplay) decided to make a completely separate series inspired by Wasteland, a series we now call Fallout.
Brian's been pitching for Wasteland 2 for a while now, but if you see the video (which is pretty damn funny, too), he hasn't had much luck, until now.

It is good Brian did not give up and stuck to his guns. I am pretty glad he got what he wanted. I want this game to be so good that it takes MMO's to the next level.
OT: Alot of people think if Itagaki was still on broad NG3 would have done better. People also hate how Team Ninja nerfed the difficulty to appease the casual audience. What do you think of all this?

It's... not an MMO. Just a single-player party-based turn-based post-apocalyptic RPG. If you saw some videos of the original perhaps, you'd understand.
Hmmm... honestly, I don't know if having Itagaki on board would have made a difference, but yes, nerfing the difficulty was a huge blunder, considering it's what made Ninja Gaiden so (in)famous in the first place. Fucking hand-holding these days. I dare any of these mainstream, casual gamers to face me in fucking DOOM. >__>

More info here. Also, my bad. It's actually more of a wad, meaning, it basically restructures the entire game itself, using ZDoom/GZDoom, and treats like a separate entity, allowing it to be used with any level pack, and perhaps mods as well. My brother knows more on the matter.

Well, I bought the collector's edition and to be honest. The game is rather lackluster in comparison to Sigma 2. Only a single weapon, a single Ninpo , lots of Pointless QTEs that detracts you from the fast paced action and pointless Kunai climbs. The graphics are improved over Sigma 2, but my point is, everything should have been better. What is odd is that I enjoyed the premium demo of DOA 5 more then I did with this game.
This is how I feel about the game even on hard mode I may have a slight challenge but it just missing that Ninja Gaiden feel. It's missing something and I don't think its the difficulty because there have been fights harder than NG2 which I thought that game was pretty easy until I got to Master Ninja which I never beat in that game. Also the weapons and Ninpo thing don't really bother me because I pretty much only used the Dragon Sword in the previous games and the same Ninpo.

But yes, but Shogun said: how is the demo? I'm actually excited for it, but NG3 is flopping like this, I'm worried now.
Well, there are several changes in the overall gameplay. First is power blows, which is basically a charge attack that leads to a series of attacks and prior to the final hit landing, the game slows down for a slight moment allowing you to control left and right to hit your target to your desired area. And when you hit off an enemy off the area of a stage, you get options to take them down via a special throw or attack.
While it seems the power blow seems kinda broken(that's what several people have been worried about), it isn't. The startup animation for the power blow is obvious, it's only good when your opponent whiffs an attack.
Visually, the characters have now a more realistic look to them and they also will sweat and get dirty during combat. Hitomi when she wins, her white singlet turns transparent by her sweat till you can see her bra.>_>
