If you can find the files needed to play these DS titles on the PC, I'd recommend the Professor Layton series, the Phoenix Wright games, or Animal Crossing. Out of the three I recommend Professor Layton the most. Being a mystery game, I could see that being a fun game to play together simultaneously. It could also be a possible segue into anime?
