Relax Sony said a fix will come likely within 24 hours about 10 hours ago. And now mine which was struck with the 80010F problem is now functioning perfectly. With all my data, saves and trophies intact.

I found it funny that I randomly tested to see if it my PS3 was working again and it did and that it took them about an hour after that to put it up on their twitter/blog.
The way they phrased it kinda sounded like the problem resolved itself as opposed to them doing something about it.

The nightmare is over and even if you dont switch on your ps3,it will still be affected cause its a hardware thing.
