Gotta give miyamoto credit for playing his Zelda LIVE and not prerecorded like previously seen.

Most of the games that they claim to be for the "hardcore gamers" suck ass. This .... wait .... i forgot what i was going to say because the wii is getting a new golden eye game? Dah fuck?

The spokesman for Nintendo needs to grow a personality, he's just droning on and on and showing little to no personality. Its just talking about nothing then hey look at this pretty picture show kiddies. Only the people who make and show off the games have some sort of enthusiasm, I hate this guy.
EDIT:
The new DK looks pretty good.

Ah, finally Kid Icarus. Too bad I was never one of the ones who cared about the Icarus rumors. Still, 3DS could be very epic. Might actually decide to update from my Phat. OMG!

So far what this odd video is telling me about the 3DS is that if I play it, ill get a mustache, get sucked into my game my friends will get impaled by swords and arrows and get attacked by barrels .... and that douche bag gets killed by bowser

Yeah, I don't think that commercial had the effect they were looking for. Better than Microsoft, but not by much. Skyward Sword I loved despite the technical difficulties, but everything else seemed really lack luster except for the possibility of the 3DS.

Well that was a lot more exciting than Microsoft's conference, some of the games that were announced like Kirby and DK I'm not usually into but I really want to pick them up now.
The 3DS sounds cool so far and hopefully has enough potential to be really good, good to see so many developers are on board and have games already being developed. It's just a shame we can't see what the 3D effect, suppose we'll have to wait till launch.

Really? Zelda, Kirby, Junction Point, Donkey Kong, Golden Sun, Other M and the 3DS with a slew of games and deals with movie companies lined up, plus the tech looks amazing. That was far and away the best conference so far; Sony have a job on their hands.

I think that the 3DS is a pretty cool idea but i see alot of issues that will fallow suit. It'll probably be really fragile and need alot of maintenance. I bet calibrating will be tons of fun and proboly seizure suits will follow ... well ... suit.
I think that women attached to tech is a bad idea XD
I'm a sony whore so i cant wait to see what they have
I don't really think it was all that impressive, the kirby game didn't wow me, to me it kinda looked like a step backwords. Zelda is pretty much amazing anyway you put it. Donkey Kong looks really good. Golden Sun .... idk, something about it just seems stale, it looks like the same character and well, if its the same one it better be just as good and they better not be going for the Link thing. I think Nintendo definitely did better than Microsoft, and they did better than they have in the past 2 years but i think they need to do more for hardcore games, like they used to.

Nintendo rapestomped MS after having their press conference starting up slow and shitty.

That was far and away the best conference so far; Sony have a job on their hands. It depends a lot upon nostalgic players. I used to love Donkey Kong, but I don't care about another Country game, Kirby I've never liked, neither have I like Metroid. Golden Sun looked bad to me. It looked a lot like the GBA games but with unrefined 3D-esque graphics. I'd rather it be 2D and refined, than ugly polygon 3D graphics. Epic Mickey should be Epic Fail.
Can't say the Tech is awesome because we can't see it. I'm not going to take their word that the 3DS is the best thing ever since sliced bread. I'll judge that when I can actually see a working 3DS in a display case or better yet get to try one before I decide whether I want to buy or not.
Sony doesn't have a lot of work on their hands to do better, but I kind of doubt that they will have a spectacular E3 either. I love Sony too, but they very rarely have impressive game shows. They seem to often have problems with showing, but not demonstrating. "Oooh! Doesn't that look nice? Yeah? Well, you'll have to take our word for us because we don't demo as much as Microsoft and Nintendo."

I'm unfortunately going to miss the sony conference and G4's first look at the games later tonight probably. Anyone know where I could see the whole conference online? I'd rather not see it in little clips, but whatever works right?

Can't argue with opinion, but I hadn't seen 'Epic Mickey' since last year and it has really come on. Looks fairly dark, has cool side scrolling bits and a really interesting good/evil painting game mechanic. I look forward to seeing some more of it personally.

True, but at the very least the graphics on the Kid Icarus demo were very impressive, as is the ability to watch 3D movies, which usually require glasses, without them. Widescreen + touchscreen is nice, cameras a bit gimmicky maybe, and the joystick looks a lovely addition, and actually a proper one unlike the PSP. I am at least impressed by the impressions.

Hopefully it won't be 90% trailers like last time, yeah. They just need to show some actual games on Move and they'll have MS beat.

Nintendo wins again. Hopefully Sony has an awesome one too.
PSWii owners are gonna have a lot of stuff to be looking forward too. Awesome.

I'm just not a fan of the concept of a Mickey Mouse game and I should have just left it at that. I won't completely throw it into the abyss of my mind until I can see more though.
I do wonder how much of the Skyward Sword demo was actual technical difficulties or unrefined game mechanics. Nintendo had a hard choice to make. Demo the game now for hype at the risk of showing a game that is far from polished, or wait till next E3 and make more Zelda fans pissy about the lack of updates. They took a risk and I can't fault them for their choice since neither one of them were good nor bad. I liked it, and I'm sure it'll be refined by the time it is released. It looked lovely. I'm one of the ones that loved Wind Waker with all my heart. I loved the sailing, I loved the cartoon-esque presentation. I also love the realistic nature of Twilight Princess. It looks like Skyward Sword combines those two aspect and I instantly fell in love.

I don't know. The more I think about Kinect the more I'm appreciating it. It is similar to what the Wii does, but different enough to claim some originality and some potentially great creativity. I'm starting to think Microsoft and Nintendo did about equal and did much better than I gave them credit for. I have a feeling that all three will be about the same playing field that is about average.

Also, how could I forget Goldeneye. It's looking like a cross between Goldeneye N64 and Nightfire, a.k.a. pure awesome. They just need to keep the campaign solid and have knife fights/duel wielding of ridiculous weapons (dual rocket launchers) to add to the confirmed Oddjob and paintballing, and they have a hit.

It looked just like the problem when the sensor bar is too far back or facing the wrong way, and they have time to refine otherwise, so that doesn't worry me. They wouldn't have shown it like that if they knew it'd happen, they even said it was fine in the practice. I loved WW too (everything but the ending, anyway) but imo this looks just like an updated Ocarina as opposed to the darker TP, which was a nice departure but maybe didn't quite fit the mould. We'll see how it turns out.

I always try to say that graphics don't matter. But making it resemble the N64 game as closely as they did bugged me a lot. That's catering a bit too much to nostalgia for my taste. But then again, like I said, I'm not a nostalgia type.
