Edit: darn it! I ran into a problem while installing...



So I tried copying just the files from the image... but to no avail...



Any ideas?

I can't read japanese so I have no idea what's going on!

Sadly the errors give next to no information to help you with. The first one says that there was a fatal error during installation, and asks you to consult windows installer help (I think...some of the kanji are hard to make out).

The other says that the game hasn't been installed and asks you to install it.

In my experience when Japanese games error out during install its almost always due to regional settings not being in Japanese, but I'm assuming you've tried that. I've also had games hate really long install paths, or have problems getting permissions if you use the default install directory, so you can try that too. Oh well hopefully you figure it out.

Hmmm... Is there a way to crack open the "setup.exe", A.K.A. the installer? I might just manually install the darn thing...

First... can you make the screenshot of the Error bigger?
Second.. when does the error happen.. when first opening or when it's copying files into the folder.?

If you have the tool I think it was around on hongfire, it lets you right click and run any app as a Japanese admin. you could try that on the setup.

You can click on the images to make them bigger.

The error happens during installing it.
