PIRACY

I get all of my computer programs for free but I actually buy my games on PS3 and PSP. I don't have the strength to rape my PSP with CFW.

Even stores(big ones) in my country pirate games(actually they don't have any original stuff except for the consoles).Pirated stuff ranges from pc,ps1/2/3,xbox/360,psp,Wii games ,movies, music and whatnot, so instead of being a lazy bum and buy a downloaded game from some mofo, I'd rather just buy a decent pc and play all of them without enriching some fucking retard who(unlike me) is making thousands of dollars selling pirated stuff to even more retarded people. Can you believe it that a Wii costs 280$ and to soft mod another 50$(you won't catch me even dead paying 50$ to SOFT mod it :P, i mean even though I've no idea how to soft mod it i will learn it even if my eyes start bleeding from reading night and day...)
So basically i used to rent some movies and buy a couple of games when i had no internet in my house(during 3 years) but now that i do "I'LL NEVER BUY A SINGLE THING FROM THOSE FUCKERS .
So, considering that my only option to buy original games is through eBay which raises the prices too much including shipping and i don't have that kind of money right now, i can only pirate stuff and my conscience is clear(almost 100% :P)...

Rage mode disengage.

Why wouldn't you pirate video games if their is no downside to it? I purchase my console and PC games to maintain the online play value, but that wasn't the case with my DS.
Do people actually feel bad for pirating? The negative effects of piracy is way less than actual theft, as there are limits to physical goods.

Do people actually feel bad for pirating? They're partially lying if they said yes.
I never felt any guilt pirating in the past when I pirate PSX and PS2 games. But after a while I find it much more satisfying when I actually bought the originals legally when I started playing the PS3.

I pirate stuff from before the PS2, but that's pretty much necessary nowadays. It's hard as hell to find a decent price (or sometimes, find period) for a PS1 or N64 game. True story - in a local video game store, they had Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64. It was over $30. A few feet away, they had the Gamecube version of the game for less than $15.
I would pirate stuff for my PS2, but I don't know anything about that sort of stuff, and I've never been very interested in learned. Also, I'm scared, to the point of paranoia, that I would mess up my system.
I like supporting companies and games by buying them, but because I'm always on a budget, I never buy any new games. Everything I get is used, and that way, it's basically like pirating, in that your money doesn't go to the company and doesn't affect any sort of sales report. So, I don't feel bad about pirating games.

Piracy is hmm for me, obviously there are plenty of older gen games that I'd want to play and are only available via emulation, so there's that. However, I do pirate modern retail games as well, but in the end there are titles that I'll legitimately end up buying as well. Indie games are also buys fo rme as well i they're cheap enough to be worth my investment.
