PORTAL 2 HAS BEEN CONFIREMED

valve has confirmed that portal 2 will be released, watch the IGN video in spoiler below

Never really got into Portal. Tried to play through it, but suddenly quit and didn't feel like starting again. Actually, Portal is one of the games I find funnier to hear about than play.

Saw this coming a week or so ago when the Valve community deciphered the new updates. Huge kudos to Valve for those spoilers though; the 56k BBS was genius.

Anyway, the original is one of my favourite games of all time without question, but I don't trust them not to screw up a sequel. To be fair, making an inevitably longer version of that with the same quality of dialogue, and keeping the game mechanic fresh and interesting, will be pretty difficult.

I read an amazingly long article about this in Game Informer. Gotta say I liked what I read and it's cool that there will be a co-op mode.

i never had doubt it's jus the last rumor i hear of this was back in 2008 i think so in my reckoning the amount of time they have spent on it it must be more awesomes and longer than portal 1
