A deus ex machina (literally "god from the machine") is a plot device in which a person or thing appears "out of the blue" to help a character to overcome a seemingly insolvable difficulty. Alternatively a person or object may have a property not revealed before. It is generally considered to be a poor storytelling technique. However it is popular in fairy tale and science fiction (for instance the fairy godmother in Cinderella or Doctor Who's sonic screwdriver).


I'm calling this deus ex machina because the insurmountable problem is, "How do we fit more h-scenes into this game without adding more storyline detail?" It's arguable whether or not it's truly deus ex machina, because the plot mechanism was previously established. However, the application seemed a little off, like they reversed cause and effect.

They did just have sex for more power and that sucks >.< . Not much love to begin with. Now I'm wondering how can they compare this to Fate/StayNight's awesomeness T_T

Well, the premise is not too far off...

FSN: 7 masters duke it out with the assistance of a servant. Last one standing receives the holy grail.
PW: 6 princesses duke it out with the assistance of a dress. Last one standing recieves the emperor's crown.

And I actually enjoyed the first half of PW the game as much as I did my favorite path in FSN. It's jsut once Chris and arata separate it goes to the crapper. It turned from an epic story with good plot and great characters to a text based version of Dragon Ball Z; people pair off and take turns beating each other and getting stronger after each pass until the writers come out of ideas for people to power up.

First part was great, second no so bad, but the finish was great too. Just remaind a question : who Arata choose ?

All that he do is for Chris' sake and for his love to her. So why does he say he love the girls which who he make love ?! That was a point which didn't pleased me.

Well in a whole it's a nice game I'd recommand but after some greater VN

Yes chapter one was most enjoyable of all cause that's all the princess fight scenes lol......but the only mind bogler to me is Lun-Lun's age,arata's stepmother said something about telling him her "true" age that got me thinking she must be older than her married siblings.Also disappointed this is all the Iris for us

I hoped for some yuri Angela X Irsis or Angela X childhood-fried-who-I-forgot-the-name. But there only was a scene where Angela is somehow submissive and ask for love. Kind of thought she would be more wild.
