Professional gaming Vs. gaming for fun

Casual.
I like being competitive sometimes, but I also love being the person who screws up everything for the fun of it.

When it comes to MW2 and Street Fighter 4, I'm straight competitive, I play to win NAH MEEN?!

Any other game I'm casual, just play for fun.

Anyway, I'm pretty serious about a few games like the Tales Series where I often attempt that crazy Yarikomi stuff, beating all bosses on hardest difficulty levels (Unknown sounds greeeat) and finding all easter eggs and hidden stuff.

I think my best yarikomi was in Tales of Symphonia, beating Abyssion on Mania (he got some CRAZY hiougi going on in the PS2 port) with Rifiru (Raine in the US) alone, lol. TAKE THIS SUCKER

But I'm not much of a completionist and I only play casually when it comes to games that are not RPGs.

Both, but mostly casual.

In Games like DoTa or Counter strike that mostly need teamwork + personal skill .. i am kind of competitive .

But if i played game like Assassin's Creed or Silent Hill that just need personal skill ..
I played casually , just for fun but still serious ...

somewhere in between although more casual type since i play for fun but i like to get as much completion percentage as i can, however not a perfectionist so if tis too bothersome, just leave it alone

Although seeing people rage at competitive games is pretty fun

I used to be pretty competitive. I was among the top 50 players on RB6V for Team Survival. Recently though, I just don't care anymore, and play to have fun with people.

Though, when I play MW2 with the usual group, we all try to play as well as we can, because we love seeing the other team rage. It's a great feeling :D

I reckon I sit in the middle ground of casual and 'pro' gamer.
Used to get really competitive back in the day of CS:Source but that mellowed over time.
Still fun to play in scrims when mates need an extra guy in Bad Company 2 though. Good fun to fight against challenging players as opposed to the usual mob who all go recon on pub servers.

Im a casual gamer and a Hardcore gamer, I want to get 100% completion in any game I play, for example Disgaea and Fallout 3 :3

More of professional. A good plot and some awesome gameplay can really amuse me. I don't find casual games too pleasing since it's so repetetive once you get the hang of it. Or maybe I just get bored fast...

professional for games that I REALLY REALLY like. eg : Tales of Eternia, cleared it like 3-4 times, each time getting harder than the last one.

Nothing beats getting a reaction after raping someone with a noob tube in MW2; or just trolling people in it. Lots of fun.

Usually I play casual. But when I see a chance to get a 100% completion I'm going for it.

If I really like the game, and don't suck at it. Then I'll go for everything. And maybe on the side win money off of it, but that's a different story.

Virtual-On, Armored Core, MechWarrior, and other mech games, for example, I'm extremely competitive with, because I work at being good at them.

Other games, I just play for pure enjoyment. Strategy games, for example, while I grew up on them and enjoy them greatly, playing one competitively would just take the fun out of the game for me.

I shine in RPG's when it comes to building chars to be the strongest.
I trip and fall when it comes to fighting games
I leave you in the dust with racing games that pass 900kh/m (F-zero GX anyone?)
I shoot my own toe off to leave the war in FPS's
I outwit my opp. in puzzle games
I Tend to fall off edges in old school platformers
I warm the bench in sport games
I tend to get lost on adventures but I leave with all the plunder
I play tactical games like I play chess. (Literally)
I duck and cover in action games only to find out theres cheat codes.
