Ps 3 or WII which should i buy?

Wii because you can go to Fakku with it.

Get a Wii, hack it play all the games you want.

Get a PS3, Enjoy life. Live Long Play

But, yeah, it really depends on your cup of tea.

Wii is for little kids.

Depends on the type of gamer. Moderate and easy going: Wii / Hardcore and exciting: PS3

Wii has Xenoblade and Skyward sword....

PS3 has Valkyria Chronicles, Uncharted and other great exclusives...

Weigh them out... see what you like best

Wii also has Muramasa the Demon Blade.

OT: Overall the PS3 is better choice but the Wii isn't bad though. It doesn't have a lot of games but it can still be fun console.

Personally I would wait til Wii U is released...
PS3 has some great games now and some great games in the future... Again you pay what you get... (internet wise)

The Wii won't have too many more games released for it as the Wii U is on it's way, so looking long term buying a Ps3 is a better choice.

If you're able to find a cheap one somewhere i'd suggest you buy it though, as it has alot of epic games.

I would go with the PS3, if you are a hardcore gamer. Wii, I view it as a system for the family and gamers whos enjoys the classics from the old NES days

I don't know where this Wiimote argument came from, but yeah sure, im not a big fan of it myself.

Although it still amuzes me when people say that they have to "swing it around" making it sound like it's hard work, the only games were you actually swing it around is the Mario Party style games, in all the other ones you basically just gently waggle your wrist a little to move it around, i don't see that being all that exhausting for anyone, except maybe fat shut in's who can't even walk up the stairs without having a heart attack.

The obvious answer initially seems to be PS3, but I'm not really sure.

It all depends on the games you want to play. Unless you don't have a Blu-ray player already, or really want one of the other features PS3 offers, you should just look at the games available on each, and buy whatever system has the games you want.

The only games i have played for the wii was Wii Fit, Mario party, The Legend of zelda, and i think that might have been it.
But its just that the Wii is not my style of gaming, i mean Nintendo could have done a better job with it.
But im not complaining i had it and liked it until i got a ps3.
Just Dance was a good game to actually get up and move around lol.
But still ill say again not my style of gaming.
But some game on Mario Party made you actually move the wii mote to beat something like shaking the bottle.
Lol well its more competitive when others play i think.

Wii has some good great games, but I think it only gets a really bad rap because it has a larger horrible-to-great game ratio then other systems. So much crap on the Wii... but still so much good.

get the PS3. more games then the wii.
my nintendo wii is never touched unless i have friends over wanting to play SSBB or rock band.
all my hardcore gaming is on the PS3. most my game collection is FPS games.

having played three games is not really enough to make the claim that "the Wii is for little kids", not to mention that non of those games are for little kids.



I couldn't care less about what you prefer to play, if you don't like the Wii for whatever reason then fine with me.

call me stupid for asking, but what exactly is a "hardcore" gamer? i used to think that described someone who has/plays a huge video game library, but now i hear people saying that people don't play wii because it's not for hardcore gamers. a true hardcore gamer wouldn't say dumb stuff like this. lot a good games for the wii. (plus you can hack it).

A hardcore game is something you have to sepnd time with to learn etc, a casual game is something like Wii fit where you can just pick up the control and swing away.

Alot of idiots seem to think that just because the game has a mature theme it's "hardcore", which is not the case.
It's pretty much the same, but at the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to alot of Nintendos games, they're colorful and doesn't have blood spraying everywhere so they're not "mature", and since mature = hardcore it's a casual game. Right?
