On the top of my head:The Jak and Daxter series, Disagea, Silent Hill, Okami, Resident Evil 4, Dragon Quest VIII, ICO, Ratchet and Clank, Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts series, God of War 2, Shadow of the Colossus(to me is the best one), Metal Gear Solid 3.

lol.. sorry forgot about that.. haha.. Clover's make pretty nice game.. I remember how many hours I spent playing GOD hang and okami... nice memories

I have to say, this list of games you all recommend is good, but where's Timesplitters? Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect are amazing FPS games with hundreds of random kinds of characters with guns and maps from different ages in time. Turok Evolution was also another great FPS, and Midnight Club 3 was an impressive racing game for it's time.

ya.. there's another one haven't been said.. Shadow Of Colloussus.. this really is an epic game.. really must not miss this 1

Persona 3 FES, 4 - Live the history as yourself
Rogue Galaxy - Most epic journey of your life through the galaxies
Devil Kings - If you like samurais and japan history
Final Fantasy X - Best graphics + epic plot

Okami, God Hand, Metal gear solid, Shinobido (pretty rare but really good game), Persona 3 (the original and FES), Persona 4, GTA series, .hack GU vol1,2,3, god of war, sly cooper series, Onimusha series, max payne 1,2, Hitman, DEvil may cry, Warrior Dynasty, Samurai warrior, Harvest moon, Diagaea series...
The games are endless! PS2 is not dead yet! (I still have it)

Ico, Shadow of the colossus (those are a must play for every gamer IMO), Odin Sphere and Valkyrie profile are my suggestions. There's a lot more good games, but I'm only saying those I think are the best.
