PS3 question & Looking for PSN buddies for certain games

Ok I recently had to buy a new PS3 because my Bluray reader decided to commit suicide for absolutely no reason, which I heard was super rare so I chalked it up to my usual streak of ultra bad luck. But immediately after that two of my friends on psn also got the EXACT same situation handed to them. Is this going around PSN or something or is it just some bad juju? -question end-

Before I even start Im going to state that I am already aware of the master list, as my PSN ID was posted a few (years?) ago on this site before my account broke itself and made it impossible for me to log on(which caused me to rage and leave the 1st time incidentally), so being that its already lost in some super ancient page on the master list I feel itd be bad to repost it.

Moving on.

Im looking for pals to hang out with in the following games, as Im tired of random ppl who usually end up being either jackasses or 10 year olds.
1. Resident Evil 5.(I'll likely end up helping u since Ive already beat pro mode and maxed most weapons, & I like merc mode so it all works out)
2.Assassins Creed Brotherhood(seriously on this one its hard enough to find good sessions as it is friends would definately help
3. Demons Souls (Im going to buy Dark Souls as well so if youre going to get it then Im a potential partner)
4. White Knight Chronicles(Its simply boring alone. Im mostly looking for friends who aregoing to buy WKC2 though)
5. Blazblue continuum Shift (PLEASE I love this game and need more challenges. btw Im average so dont expect a combo god)
6.Little Big Planet 2(I have NO FAKKU friends to play this with, and it would be nice)
7. Dead Space 2(meh not so much on this one so its whatever)
8. Super Street Fighter 4 (dont have AE eye)


and completely unrelated to PSN Im looking for a fun FREE MMO thats fun to play(which in my case means I need some violence. Probably something akin to WoW)

Out of those games, I have RE5, I play a lot of Versus which is pretty fun if you have people to play with, and Demon's Souls. I'm also obviously getting the 2011 GOTY (aka Dark Souls)
