PSP Games With a Good Story

Anyone have suggestions for psp games that have interesting stories? Crisis Core has been my favourite so far, and most rpgs that have good stories are crap ports that have no improvement, in fact they seem worse than the original. Suggestions, anyone?

If you are ruling out ports, that pretty much rules out 80% of all the rpg's available for the PSP! ...hm, and the ones that remain aren't that great. Have you tried Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology? The story is pretty decent and the combat system is a lot of fun to mess with.

Mana Khemia? Has a pretty okay story for me and a nice change of pace from the standard RPG leveling up formula(you have to make items to get stronger)

Tales of vesperia and my recommendation is: Valkyrie Profile this is the remake of the psx game but its a good game, i am currently playin it and really like it!

yup, agreed with this one. and it's not just a "Copy paste" port, it's a complete remake.
New Cut scenes, New Jobs, new characters etc etc..
even the "renewed" the script just a little bit so it will sound like a "real" medieval talk.

chrono cross, breath of fire 3 and 4, suikoden 1 and 2, legend of dragoon, persona 1 and 2.
yeah, all of them are ps1 games. but they are still awesome.

Well most people like Breath Of Fire 3 but i personally prefer BoF 4 for it has much darker story even though it looks all anime-like.
